Ringo was the true backbone of The Beatles and his autograph ought to be priceless. Yellow Submarine was the greatest song they ever done & it would have been nothing without Ringo. Listen to the White Album, "Don't Pass Me By" is by far the best song on that album. And as far as "best" is concerned, there were 2 reasons for dumping Pete; he couldn't play the drums, and Ringo was much better looking than he was. Buddy Rich wasn't even half the drummer Ringo was. Ringo was the very best.

Lennon, McCartney & Harrison didn't even try to answer to a quarter of the fan mail they received. Ringo was always trying to answer to all of his fan mail. And he still was, untill the very last year and this message.
Plus, now, he hasn't stopped answering to fans, he has just stopped sending back signed objects. He was tired to find them on Ebay three days later.
Give him a fucking break. This man is a Beatle.

Ringo was the true backbone of The Beatles and his autograph ought to be priceless. Yellow Submarine was the greatest song they ever done & it would have been nothing without Ringo. Listen to the White Album, "Don't Pass Me By" is by far the best song on that album. And as far as "best" is concerned, there were 2 reasons for dumping Pete; he couldn't play the drums, and Ringo was much better looking than he was. Buddy Rich wasn't even half the drummer Ringo was. Ringo was the very best.

Every type of music entertains someone, no matter how niche it is. Beatles were the opposite of niche. Lot's of people like them = lot's of record sales = big big band. I'm sorry the old bands you like never became as big as the beatles, but you have to respect their evolution. From "twist and shout" to "the end" in 6 1/2 years.

Pete Best wasn't hired in the end because the rest of the Beatle's were jealous because he was starting to get more attention than them - FACT.
It's fair enough if ringo doesn't want to sing autographs, all he has to do is divert his address and not sign them. There was absolutely no need to do a You Tube video to tell his fans off, that's just stupid and it looks as if he doesn't give a toss about his fans (but that was obviously unintended), whoever gave him the advice to do this is stupid.

It is history but a shame that The Beatle's drummer wasn't Pete Best. I have met him twice . He is a good drummer and enjoys giving autographs. Ringo is the luckiest man to ever live. John Lennon stated that they were" cowards "to treat Pete Best as they did. To date non of the fab four have had the decency to look Pete up to see how he is or how he is doing.
