Headcases was a valiant attempt to revive the spirit of Spitting Image but it could never compete with the up to the minute topicality of S.I. as the CGI technology still requires considerable amounts of time to turn around.

As a result there was precious little actual topical satire and the whole thing was padded out with tedious recurring sketches.

Such a shame.

Disgusted by how bad this was, made for the stupid and this is coming from a "Spitting Image" fan. Many of the original cast were offered to do voices in this but turned it down when they were told it was going to be made through CGI graphics.

Lession 1: Graphics and comedy don't mix!

Mind you comedy today is for the stupid audiences and is at it's worst point.
