I love Brands! He will not be happy unless it is 60-0. And he has instilled that mentality in his wrestlers too. Dennis beats the #5 guy in the country and isnt happy at all. Hawkeyes always want domination, thats why they are #1.

What is the story with Matt Mcdonough??? don't follow Iowa wrestling religiously but I'm a huge Iowa fan and really appreciate the history we have in wrestling....This guy sounds like he is gonna be the next great iowa wrestler.....

Matt Mcdonough is a red shirt freshman out of Linn-Mar high school. He is coming out this season like a monster. To me he is looking quite a bit like a smaller Metcalf. He goes out, pushes the pace and he is extremely talented. And he has made it very clear that he is not trying to just be good, he wants to be great. He wants to set records and wont be happy without at least one title.
