  • there is so much power and presence in your dancing Izzy, its wonderful.

  • What an artistic interpretation!!! Really oryginal and beaufiful!

    Very touching performance!!!!!!!

  • Dear Izzy,

Thrilling and mesmerizing. Thank you for postubg it !!! Kisses from Hungary.

  • u r one piece of an artist...everyone can dance, there is enough dvds and good teachers everywhere, but not everyone can create sth that ends up being nice to look at!

  • HOLY WOW!!!! Girlfriend's channeling the ancients...

  • The talent and training shown here take the art of belly dance and fusion to a whole new level. I also wonder if there is martial arts training here too? Stunning!

  • Thanks! Heeee--you noticed that, did you? *grin* Yes, actually there is a modified version of one of our short form katas in there, in addition to one of the long form salutations and a little of the sword stuff. I was a baby gold belt when I did this piece. Teehee!

  • It's gorgeous! I've been training in martial arts for 6 years and bellydancing for 9 and have wanted to do more fusion work of the two, especially with sword as you are doing. My style is more kickboxing & karate not as much sword. Was thinking of switching to kung fu maybe for sword, not sure...anyways, I'm so glad to see someone is incorporating this type of fusion it is such an exciting way to contrast the energy of both dances and very integrative at the same time! :) :) BrAVO!! :)

  • Right on! It is absolutely one of my favorite forms of fusion - heh, both in dancing and in my life. Belly dance and martial arts - it makes for good balance and lots of fun!

  • Exactly! I feel like its the balance of masculine and feminine energy! :)

  • Totally!!

  • I love the fact of being literally dancing with your shadow. Congratulations Isadora.

  • thankye thankye! Yes...that was totally where I was at. Sword dance is always like that for me--a reflection of where I am at any given moment.

  • Wish I could see it better, too. I like the music and the performace.

  • Awesome! Does anybody know the name and the author of the music?

  • Yes, the name of the music is "Ferte Prezna na Prezarro" by Sherefe, a band out of Denver, CO

  • Amazing dancing....just wish we could see it better!
