@nesthead98 in high level tournament play (particularly new york) thwe rules allow certain funky stages to be picked as an arsenal stage for the players. meaning when its their turn they can pick one of these funky stages, but only once. Poke Floats is another good example.

ok so it is an exploit, but its still unintended and had to be fixed. the basic principle remains the same, it was certainly an error, but not enough to be considered a glitch. exploits are usually treated the same as glitches though. like the 2 piece in gears, these techniques were flaws and were eventually removed.

Wavedashing was unintentional, but the developers noticed it and thought it was better to keep it in to see what people would do.

well now that ive actually watched it, i can say its much better than the other videos.

alot less bullshit chain grabs and glitches. this stage has alot of aerial fighting that shows their real skill. theyre both really fast, i wish the played like this everywhere. but on final destination, its always wave dashing and chain grabs. i think melee is perfectly competitive without the use of glitches.

think about it. hopping up and down tilting the air dodge to move faster. what kind of designer would add something so random and ridiculous looking on purpose? why did they get rid of it in brawl? why is it nowhere in the instructions?

Sakurai has clearly said he did not wish for brawl to be a competitive game. And you know what? He made brawl. What about DAC and DACUS in brawl? Sakurai didn't intend to put those in and that looks a lot more silly than a wavedash. Practically every AT is an exploit of the game physics, even brawl has some like DAC, DACUS.

i agree that theyre exploits, but it doesnt make much of a difference. they are still unintended flaws in the game. a glitch is basically just a more serious version.

i woudnt mind if the glitches were in or out of the game. but biggest problems in brawl its slow paced, there is no hit stun and air dodging as much as you want.

thank god brawl doesnt have some of these glitches, it shows nintendo (like all developers) doesnt agree with cheating.

but mlg is oblivious to the fact that they are cheating. no mlg player is good, they are illegitimate.

No. The one true infinite in the game, wobbling, was discovered and shown to the public well at NCT 2, after most of the MLG events. No where in the rules did it say that fox couldn't infinite waveshine a marth against a wall. The only stage in the random selection where it was possible was Stadium, but even then the stage could change on you.

It was possible on Corneria and this stage, but that's the point of a counterpick, to give you the advantage. Banning infinites is just retarded.

i play with about any character (1:sheik 2:Peach 3:Marth 4:Ganon 5:Doc), because the basics are all the same. I dont believe in u not getting used to doing down b's.. just practise in thinking while playing.

if you use fox, most of the combos are gonna have shines and things, but thats a down b and from marth, thats a counter and i could never switch like that. i'd use marth first and never use counter and switch to fox who always uses it. but ken did really good from marth to fox
