dude i'm doing a stage 1 7psi and i was wondering if there is any problem with a front mount intercooler cuz on the avenger's there is only one way the air gets to the radiator and a front mount intercooler would block that so if u have one is there a problem with heat? and what kind of bov should i get?
@homelessbassist No problems that I know of with using the front mount intercooler with the factory radiator as I have seen this done even with a basketball sized holset hx40 turbo. I think they just get better fans, usually electric... The blow off valve I like the best on them is the purple Greddy type s (not the ebay copy though as they fall apart) Hope this helps

well, why would you need usable power in the lower rpm range? so you can be proud of an engine making an unnecessarily high amount of torque for trips to the grocery store? this is key to the poor mpg reputation of large-displacement V8's
given that small displacement 4 cylinders have a disadvantage (less torque) in the lower rpms, their short-geared transmission make good use of their high-end hp above 6k, offering acceptable gas mileage and comparable acceleration
im going to tell every person on this fricken page that thinks they know what they r talking about that it is a PROVEN fact that there is no replacement for displacement. yes there r fast 4 cylinders out there but the more cubes u have the more u can get out of it. try pull 8,000 horse out of a 4 cylinder. maybe possible some day but not now. the fastest 4 out there runs 5's in a quarter when they had to limit top fuel v8's because they were going to fast and people started dying.
