OMG me and my mate are making a game a 2d side scrolling shooter and i can draw but when it comes to characters i suck is there a tutorial some where i can practice drawing characters please help me
Hey, id also be interested maybe not with this one if the other guy has the job but it would still be interesting to communicate with you. Or do whatever im pretty flexable
I forgot to mention that I'm participating in a university competition at the moment using C#, which ends this friday. If you'd like to wait until then I can send you a copy.
I also use PHP and mySQL alongside flash to intergrate server capabilities.
I'm not that tech savvy so I don't really know what that means. Sounds like it has to do with making the game run smoother for more people. Is there a way to make the game run smoothly while having a lot of sound files in it and still make it playable for newgrounds? Or would we need to make the game a downloadable package in order to do that?
Compression would need to be undertaken to keep the flash at an acceptable file size.
I'd be using AS3 (Benchpressing/Testing have shown it to be on average 50x faster than AS2) but I am yet to stress it on the audio side. How many sounds were you looking to include and what file size?
