I've just found out they remade the 1959... In the original the Sgt was trying to save the boys so he had them guard a worthless bridge and then got himself killed.This one looks far more intence

This is not a good movie.

If the screen play and actors where good enough to conway the correct emotional impact the scenes intended I would forgive it for the crappy combat action,.... think death scenes ala kids in real life playing cowboys and Indians..., none correct hardware and some of the stereotypical characters.
