It's obvious cutting taxes on the rich through income taxes and capital gains taxes, which is the Republican answer to everything, has not worked. The only solution to the problem is going to be increasing the taxes on the rich, increasing capital gains taxes, and using the additional tax money generated this way to stimulate the economy by increasing SS payments, welfare, food stamp moneys, pell grants, and the like.

The truth of the matter is that the decrease in capital gains taxes caused company A to invest into company B which reinvested company A's money and investment capital from themselves into company C which took their money, and A's and B's money to invest in company D. This drug up share prices artificially, and they rode the wave for awhile dragging up share prices even more, and now that it's looking like a Democrat might reverse the capital gains tax cuts, they're pullin all their money out.

The truth of the matter is, the banking and credit system in this country and essentially all over the western world is dirty. How would you like to have $100 and be able to loan out $1000 at interest to someone Miss? Wouldn't it be great to loan out $900 you don't have to someone and charge them interest on that $900 you never had? This is how our banking system works. When you borrow money from the bank, you're potentially borrowing money that doesn't exist and paying interest on it.

When these large banking institutions report losses of, in total, $600 billion, is that $600 billion really lost? No, no. That money never existed at all. Maybe half of it existed, but now the government buys back the mortgages with money that does exist for debt on money that doesn't. Now these banking institutions receieve real money for debt money that never existed, and the American people are none the wiser.

Now, their mortgage payments go up because they owe more on their house due to interest. In order to pay their home off in the allotted 30 years, their mortgage payment has to increase to cover the new inflation.

Inflation in the last sentence of the last post should be 'interest.' Anyway, all this does is manufacture a housing crisis. Now the big boys like the Rothschilds and Rockefellers can go back and buy up all these houses for a fraction of their actual worth. Then, the miracle will happen. The housing market will realign itself(with the help of the people who created the crisis of course) and these people will further increase their wealth through mass liquidation of property at the lowest cost

Money that didn't exist bought all these houses that did, and now the government is going to use our tax money to buy all the houses at current value(at a higher value than what they're actually worth) and these institutions are going to profit massively. They're robbing the American people, and everybody's got their heads too far up their asses to realize it.

In other words, these institutions have $5000 of actual money in a house that's value is actually $50,000 and instead of, with interest, the house costing a total of $150,000, with the higher interest rate from when the indidivual set the mortgage up on the adjustable rate mortgage, the house's mortgage value is now $200,000. The government is going to pay the whole $200,000 to the mortgage company, and the mortgage company/banks are going to profit $195,000 off each home. Robbery is what it is

It's just fractional reserve banking. Banks can loan 90% of what they have in reserves. A bank with a $1 million charter can loan out $9 million. If you deposit $100 into your account, that gives the bank $900 more it can LOAN out. When you realize this, you can see that all these houses people owe money on are paying interest on a loan of money to them to buy the house that never actually existed and they're responsible to pay interest on it.
