My dog Roxy is the worst reverse sneezer. I have to stop the walk and open her mouth b/c she is bracchiocephalic. Freddy is so cute I want to run downstairs and squeeze both of my labs! that noise around 1:10 my dog does that. the vet said that She does it because she has asthma. not sure if its the same reason yours is doing that, but thats what my vet said. they are doing it because its hard for them to breathe.

@sewingsamilly Its an irritation of the soft palate. They usually stop on their own but you can rub their throat or pinch their nose so they have to breathe through the mouth. Then it should stop but its nothing to worry about unless it happens a lot.

@sewingsamilly agreed with the other person who responded to you although im not sure if those methods work they are probably worth a shot i guess. It most often happens when they get overexcited like when going for a walk, it is most common in breeds like pugs or dogs with smashed faces although it does occur in all breeds.
