The soundtrack is sold EVERYWHERE in Epcot. Um, I guess the most common place is on the bridge connecting Future World to the World Showcase (they have a few karts and stands and such)
I wish someone would upload the intro - the part that has several little mini-songs in a row, right before the show actually starts. Anyone have that?
My high school marched and performed this show about 4 years ago (my freshman year) and I went with the band to actually see it personally. It was a wonderful experience. Our show is up here. :) It's horrible! :D

like this is really the best firework show ever. I saw wishes in magic kingdom and it has nothing on reflections of earth. Oh and the video is great not zoomed out too far at all.
I've been looking for a good Illuminations video for quite some time, and this is the greatest I've found. Where did you get the soundtrack? And the only thing that I see that bothers me (a very small thing to), is the absense of the firework explosion bangs. This video brings back good memories of my many trips. Good job!
about how much do the fireworks cost per show? that's a lot of pyro to handle...is it computerized w. the music or do you have to press buttons for each explosion? i saw this in december of '99 and remember it like it was yesterday; its an awesome show
when was this filmed? It seems a little while back, cuz in reference to "cheapening" the show...the opening explosion has changed to these two pathetic multicolor shells. this looks like the old show...maybe the perimeters weren't fired due to wind direction. even though you're right...i havent seen perimeter shots in a few weeks. (work for disney too, fascinated w/ illuminations)
you know I find it really funny how people want to shoot and get really really close to the fireworks up front. I work illuminations every night and if they want a good shooting, it has to be a little back such as where the entrace to the plaza is or where you were. Aweseome video!! Only sad thing about this video though is that the perimeter fireworks aren't there....I think disney is being cheap once more and took those out sadly. u.u
It's either that, or the fire warden made them get rid of it. By meaning of that, I mean when it fires, one of the lights could land on someone. That'd ba a nice, juicy lawsuit right there. They're either being cheap, or don't want to be sued.
I know, I have been to Walt Disney World A few times and I have try to Video IllumiNations, with my own camcorder, and I must say this Video is much better than mine... Thanks for posting Video (Nice Job)

I got mine at the Polynesian resort, mousegears and somewhere in downtown Disney Westside would probably have it as well

you can get the soundtrack anywhere in the parks... i worked at the Emporium in the mk and i know we sold it...

This is shot from Epcot is Disney World. The camera is placed at the entrance of the Showcase Lagoon.
