  • Really cool!!!!

  • Hispanic here, fuck cadillac1817, I like the prius.

  • فوتوشوب :)

  • @fahad1752 Haha, no Photoshop involved!

  • nail polish for finishing touch.....good job xD

  • @kronicsz12 that was legit touch-up paint. looks like it and says so in the description. although nailpolish would work..........

  • i would recomend the hammer trick instead

  • So what is this tube saying? Buy A PRIUS its PLASTIC FANTASTIC! and if a hairdryer doesnt work, thats easy! just use your local service station air compressor and reinflate the intire car, its like a balloon on wheels!

  • I am glad you hit your prius. I hope you trash that car and won't buy again. I still remember left lane idiots with prius going with 55 mph on left lane in California. All lanes were empty but they would still use left lane just because it says you can go on HOV lane when there is traffic. Even once some idiot wanted to race with my Acura TLS with his prius.

  • @syalcin123 Damned if you drive at 55 MPH and damned if you try to race an Acura TLS!

  • @syalcin123 Acura is just more japanese crap, get a BMW at least

  • @glasp1 Fuck bmw overpriced douchebag car, drive Acura first and talk

  • como todo lo que hacen los chinos puras porquerias

  • @cadillac1817 Google Translate says that means, "like everything else the Chinese make -- pure crap"

  • @cadillac1817 hmm we should put it against the popular car model crated in mexico and sold all over the world, oh wait there isn't one! hahaha

don't bag on other countries till u can back it up feo.

  • Fucking cheap gooks lol

  • This only can apply on PU material bumper...Fiber glass. Definately already in pieces.

  • Si queres aprender a reparar granizo y bollos grandes sin pintar, mira nuestros 15 videos, no te pierdas ni uno solo. SACABOLLOS CANEDO CURSOS

  • @sacabolloscanedo Google Translate says this means, "If you want to learn how to repair large hail and buns unpainted, see our 15 videos. Do not miss a single one!"

Yeah, hail and unpainted buns. Check 'em out! =D

  • LE QUEDO COMO EL CULO AL CHINO CHANTA ESTE

  • Guy yells, "original bumper". Look at the finished picture, the silver is so far off from bumper to fender. I'm not implying that the bumper your seeing isn't the bumper that was originally dented in. I'm implying this car was probably hit previously, and they repaired something that was already repaired once. Not original bumper! Lol

  • @CatacombKidd Nope!

  • So, the idea would be to make a hollow plastic bumper with a pressure release valve that releases air upon impact. Then, to fix it, one adds air back into the bumper. An indestructible polymer is indicated. But the problem remains that the asphalt on the road is not impact absorbing. If one is thrown from their perfect Toyota creation, the skin is removed quickly. Best to use Stargates until the technology is perfected. Smart alec comment # 670.

  • @seapeddler The solution would perhaps be to make a wear an indestructible polymer exoskeleton with pressure release valve that releases air upon impact. Skin preserved, at slightly lower cost than portable Stargates.

  • @niftyken But that sudden release of air would be socially unacceptable.

  • @seapeddler Yeah, it would be silent but deadly.

  • evidencia de ke los "nipones" tambien son "chambitas".... y codos

    .... como nosotros los mexicas....jejejeje

  • @diabolatory Google Translate says that means, "evidence that the Japanese also are "chambitas" (doing small labor-intensive jobs without satisfactory economic return), like us Mexicans .... hehehehe"

  • fICOU UMA PORCARIA, FORA QUE A ULTIMA CENA O PARACHOQUE FOI PINTADO INTEIRO....

  • @Bierrenbach100 Google Translate says that means something like, "WAS CRAP, OUT THAT LAST SCENE WAS PAINTED THE WHOLE BUMPER." Clearly we're missing some key phrase here that would help us understand this comment.

  • any one else notice that the top replied comment spells assbblover when replied to. :-)

  • this is the family power. good job

  • You lot are stupid why use a hair dryer when its standard abs plastic should have used a bit of bruce lee power n popped it out plus by heating it u risk heat blisters next time use a professional.

  • that was awesome.

  • My sister has the same hair dryer. She gets pissed when I use it on my car

  • 57 people are just jealous that they arent so awesome

  • I wonder what the body of the person they hit looks like. Guess they won't get caught for this crime... "sorry officer, but our bumper looks like new"

  • @eetmieshyt Clearly the green stuff we had to rub off indicated it was an alien species. The dented bumper isn't the only thing we had to cover up...

  • @niftyken hi! i have the same dent in the same spot on my 09 prius. except theres no scratches in the paint. i cant access pushing out the dent because inside the driver wheel wheel theres a black well cover going around the inside of the wheel... how to remove that? i cant fand the directions anywhere- even in the manual! thanks.

  • @MrImacarfan For me, the cover was already loosened, probably from the initial impact. If that's not the case for you, then there are a few screws/bolts you'd have to remove first. Shine a light in there and you should be able to see them...

  • im guessing the car hit the prius seeing as it cant go fast enough to get a scratch

  • Thanks so much! I JUST got done doing this with my car. You helped me save so much money THANK YOU!!! :)

  • @ssbblover Thanks for watching and reporting back on your success! Good job!

  • had to fix van before mom gets home....

  • @anthonyhernandezful You can do it! Only takes about 15 minutes. =]

  • Awesome! Good job and thank you for posting. My friend's bumper just got pushed in pretty good - we have yet to take a good look with the cover off but it looks like it might be similar in repair.... no braces damaged. Wish us luck!

  • @Codeblauananas Thanks for watching, and good luck! =]

  • It's nice to see they could take enough time off from the grocery store to make this video.

  • @bmxfelon420 I give you good price!

  • If you asians could drive then you wouldn't have to do this in the first place.

  • i didn't know a Prius could go fast enough to get a dent ?

  • @Mrireallydontknow Now you know!

  • Amazing! Going to try this on my rear bumper. :)

  • Japanese invents all!!!

  • Man! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Thanks for posting!

  • @nightsurfer1 I'm glad we made a believer out of you! =]

  • You no want fried rice?!

  • @lazy4life678 Don't worry, I always want fried rice!

  • don't sink der should be mucch of a probrum

  • Get the whole family involved! :D

  • japonês inventa cada coisa

  • @marcusviniciusfilho Google Translate tells me that means, "Japanese invent everything"!

  • Comment removed

  • can i do that on my hood ?? I have a Mazda Protege 5 2002 but i dont know if is the same materiel like the Prius :S HELPPP MEEE PLZZ

  • @davelovechan Unfortunately, I'm doubtful that most hoods are made of plastic!

  • Great video.. thanks... Could you please tell how long it required to heat up?

  • @jaykumarr I think it took about 10 minutes of continuous heating. With two hair dryers, there's very little risk of damaging your car bumper, so feel free to do it for longer to be sure the plastic is softened up. Good luck!

  • @niftyken , @jimba2000

thank you for your support... I tried for 10 mins with hair dryer, but my hands could not press it well (though i felt warmness of heater inside the fender). By the way, where do you live (if you can fix my dent for a price)

  • @jaykumarr You may have to resort to two hair dryers to generate enough continuous heat. I'm in Northern California, what about you?

  • @jaykum are you using a hair dryer or heat gun? if you use a heat gun don't get too close to the paint you will blister the paint. always keep the heat moving don't stay in one spot just move the hair dryer or heat slow. hair dryer on high heat gun on low stetting should do it. now to answer your question jaykumarr is right about 10 minutes i hope the other tips help you out

  • That was pretty impressive, but if you look closely, you can still see a bit of the damage. They probably just need to smoothen it out a bit more...

  • @SoleyNSilent Still, you have to admit, that's not bad for a DIY repair with no tools and a scratch repair bottle.

  • good job

  • Yes LAM Family. Here in Chiago there are tons of snow. I just reared my new Caravan into a short steel pole. I will use your trick when it gets a little warmer.

    Great job!!

    Andy Lam 新年好!

  • @quotron8 Thanks for writing! Good luck with the repairs in the spring! =]

  • @watzupdawg It probably would have been faster if the three of us knew anything about disassembling and repairing cars. Since we didn't know that much, we had to go with this approach!

  • @niftyken In the USA you can buy 1 hour permission to view the information for dismantling online. Costs about as much as lunch at a fast food place.

  • Very smart! Thank you! A LAM from Chicago

  • @quotron8 Cool! I wonder if you mean a LAM as in "from the Lam family" =]

  • get back in the kitchen and cook me some chinese food that video was a joke he he make me laugh

  • @jimba2000 My cooking is a joke, so maybe I can make a video of that too. =D

  • @niftyken i was wrong for posting that comment i do auto body for a living. and for having no exp. in auto body you did do a very good job i didn't think before i commented my bad

  • @jimba2000 Thanks for writing back! Yeah, we did what we could with our limited tools and knowledge. I'm sure you would've done an even better job!

  • Nice Job for not having any tools.... I was thinking that you were going to remove the bumper

  • hey not bad, not bad at all

  • BOQUETA

  • I love incest

  • buy a new bumper, Its a Prius, not a damn Porsche.

  • @Moe11032 Hah, I don't think this cheapskate technique's gonna work on a Porsche...

  • @Moe11032 If you crash a Porsche, you could probably just buy a new Prius for the price of the damn bumper!

  • Lol safetyglasses while handpolishing the paintmarks of the bumper hahaha

  • @JCD20071981 You don't want that stuff in your eye, haha!

  • هههه

  • @20011SHOSHO Google Translate says that roughly means, "Haha!" in Arabic

  • wow thats so cool

  • Do the right thing.

  • @SoundMan1985 Be a man. Do the right thing.

  • why not turn the whell bitch ?!?

  • @minibagarN Great idea, especially if you have bigger arms!

  • @minibagarN really? is bitch necessary? be nice

  • original bumper

  • Japońce to kurwa do wszystkiego są zdolne...

  • @sssbbbbxxx Google Translate says that roughly means, "Japanese whore is into everything they are capable..." in Polish

  • LOL awesome video, great job guys!!

  • Hahaha Them crazy Asians they can do anything

  • So, never buy a new Bumper from a japanese.lol.

  • @henriquegurjao I give you good price!

  • @henriquegurjao They do that in germany too...

Last time i wanted to buy a bodykit.

    Noticed the weird paint disturbance...

Asked one of the worker of that workshop and he told me it was from a wrecked car, but the sellsman wouldnt admit it.

  • WIng ching chong ling ling chong ching chi!

  • @TeenIronMan Google Translate totally didn't know how to interpret that!

  • Dude a family of asians are learning how to fix there toyota prius... haha thats sill close to a honda civic lol

  • @Bassman018 I sold my Honda Civic to get this Toyota Prius! =D

  • thats what you get from driving a prius!!

  • The fenders still fucked.

  • Did somebody bump into it while WALKING by?

  • @BMLarson93 The world may never know...

  • so u are japanese like my family but i live in Brazil

  • @11myedu I hear Brazil is beautiful!

  • i had to pull the entire front bumper off to repair a dent on my yaris

  • still looks sketch

  • Chinese fire power!!! Fire element!!! Fire jutsu!!! haya

  • @zongivila Hadouken!

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkk FICOU UMA GAMBIARRA QUASE PERFEITA ! KKK SE PASSASSE A MASSA PLASTICA E PINTASSE FICAVA 100%

  • @Eutocoraul Google Translate says that roughly means, "WAS AN ALMOST PERFECT GAMBIARRA[?]! If you pass your plastic mass was 100% and PAINT".

    Nice.

  • Asian Power For the WIN!

  • Oh my gosh! Same thing happened to me! But the back bumper instead! I will try this! How long did it take to blow dry it??

  • @missnxxx Times will vary for each situation, but I'd heat it up at least 10 minutes before attempting to push it out. If the plastic doesn't seem to budge at all, then heat it up even longer! =]

  • сколько же фенов спалили эти 2 конфуция

  • @TARASOV85 Google Translate says that roughly means, "How many hair dryers burned these two Confucius?"

  • Tried this myself with the cheapest heat gun I could find on a Scion rear plastic bumper. Worked like a charm. Paint was not damaged. Thanks for the video!

  • Double whammy, Asian driver and its a Toyota

Asians+ Sticky Toyota gas pedals= that dent

    Sucks...

  • wow,,wow,,,wow,,,,it's great job and I do it in my new car today and i am very very happy,,,,,thank you very much,,,,best regards to you from Haroun Aqeel(( Elvis Tribute Artist ))

  • What's the name of the paint solvent you used?

  • @PHXunited10 I'm pretty sure it was called Removall. It's a paint solvent but apparently now it's hard to find. I'd recommend just asking your local auto / hardware store for a paint solvent.

  • i'm sorry but mileage does not vary on a bumper with a dent like that.

  • Gas heater

  • I have a question. I'm about to do this on my Nissan Sentra 2004 1.8S. What is the name of the solvent that you used? I hit a tree and I need to clean my bumper out before hitting it with 2 hair dryers.

Btw do you have any other advice before I proceed with it? Thank you.

  • @fshadowk12690 I'm pretty sure it was called Removall. It's a paint solvent but apparently now it's hard to find. I'd recommend just asking your local auto / hardware store for a paint solvent. Other than that, be slow and steadfast with the hair drying. It takes a while to heat it up. No point trying to push out the dent until the plastic soft!

  • @niftyken Will do. I guess any paint solvent will do. Wish me luck on me vs. my dented rear bumper. Will let you know if it works (I'm still a bit skeptical about this, but what the hey, it's worth a shot!).

  • @fshadowk12690 Good luck! And truly one of the nice things about my method here is that there is very little chance anyone could really screw things up. At worst, you waste 20 minutes and still have a dent. But it's not like you took apart your whole bumper and then realized you had no idea how to put it back together, etc. =]

  • should have taken bumper off, heated with a heat gun from a distance of 30cm, pushed back into shape, sanded, light skim of filler, sanded, primed, painted! Proper job YOuuuuthhhh

  • @22Rozay Sounds like you should make a video about the process!

  • prius looks like it left the factory before the minute !! great job !! CHINESE POWER !!!!!!!

  • Great job :) Going to try this on some smaller areas and see if it works ...

  • Do Japanese cars have a resale value? Or are they one time use only. I might get rid of my Mercedes and buy one of those jappo cars.

  • its a prius might as well scrap the piece of shit anyways

  • i tried and it works.. thanks.. i also have to use 2 hair dryers...

  • very nice

  • HAY WEY!!!

  • hello, im going to do this with my prius. same dent in same spot, how to i get my arm behind the bumper? the fender skirt seems to be in the way and i dont know how to remove it.

  • @StuntDoubleTheatre That's a good question. One viewer mentioned it would be easier if I turned the wheel toward the other side of the car first so I can more easily access the side of the bumper I need. You may also then need to remove any fastener/screws that are holding the skirt in place. Mine didn't seem to have these anymore, so I was able to directly touch the other side of the plastic bumper surface from the inside.

  • Comment removed

  • @StuntDoubleTheatre That's too bad your dad won't let you do it. He's probably worried it won't work out. Maybe if you show him the video, he'll see how easy and harmless it will be to try!

  • Hey dude with black hair, why you dont pull whells to right side? Than would be much easy to push bumper with hand from inside.

  • @dsweex That would have been a very good idea! Thanks for the tip!

  • Nicely done!

  • For those of you who want to try it... it only works on plastic bumpers... heat applied to plastic for long period of time will just soften the bumper enough for you to push it back out.

  • Fan on, fan off, daniel san!

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • awesome fix, thanks for the info

  • LOL " PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, ORIGINAL BUMPER. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT " MR. CHONG BUMPERFIED

  • umm lol! Looks like a dented damaged bumper to me still? Can't believe you didn't burn the paint getting that close for as long as you did. Damm diy ers! Ha Ha

  • get your upper clips clicked to bumper holder :)

and check the headlight lower holding legs ;)

  • HI FROM GREECE.VERY NICE EFFORT. IMPRESSIVE RESULTS WITH NO COST.EXCEPT THE ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION.XAXAXA.WELLDONE DUDE.

  • This does work, just copied their process to remove a dent about the size of half a football (that's a soccerball to all you idiots in the U.S.) from right on the corner of my rear bumper where some twat had reversed into me and fucked off, used the shaft of a hammer to gain some leverage and forced the dent out with the hammer head, didn't have to take the bumper off and took about 10 mins altogether. Looks about 97% better, if you didn't know, you wouldn't notice it.

  • @dokrok61 Nice work, Dokrok! Thanks for the report back.

  • @dokrok61 "to all you idiots in the U.S." Why the unnecessary, nasty comment? I'm glad you repaired the dent yourself.

  • @dokrok61

Idiots? You can't even admit you pushed in your own bumper.Take that hammer to your head and knock some sense into it.

  • @teabaggergirl sorry, I meant racist idiots.

  • @dokrok61 I thought it was because you have to constantly explain to people about the difference between a soccer ball and a football!

  • Hi, what kind of solvent did you used to remove the paint?

  • @Corruptors I'm pretty sure it was called Removall. It's a paint solvent but apparently now it's hard to find. I'd recommend just asking your local auto / hardware store for a paint solvent.

  • How in the hell did you hit a parking lot pole.
