  • Are Newsvans as of 2010 still use videotape or do they use DVD or Hard drive. for video.

  • I don't understand why the truck is not the stations colors... their colors are blue, and this truck is red and white

  • This was back in the 1990's

  • Hey eyeontv

You recut my promo! You left out my first shot of the sunrise and I can't hear Craig Breedlove who broke the land speed record saying, "Man that's a fast truck"! It was total blind luck getting him (and the Wild Animal Rescue Helicopter Co. we hired-hilarious) if you saw "World's Fastest Indian" that was our story, too! No one would believe it.

The old truck was awesome (now garaged).

    Gas was cheap back then.

And Pete Wilson..worked with him at 4 & 7. He definitely is missed.

  • I'm not sure what's better... that they implied they would break all speed laws back home in the Bay Area to cover a story, or the fact that 10 years after they dropped that logo (a red circle 7, please!), they haven't bothered to repaint the truck lol.

  • I actually think the red circle-7 is interesting.

    Are you serious?

The truck is still like that?

  • Oh yeah, they haven't changed the colors on that truck. It's interesting though, whenever there's a flood in the North Bay, they bring up that truck. So if you're driving up 101 while it's raining and see the truck, time to start calling some friends, because it is gonna get crazy!

  • Haha. It's an out-of-the-box way of getting viewers.

  • Thats nice, but my SAT truck can go this fast as well, maintaining military-grade off-road capabilities. :)

  • That is soooooo cool!

  • The problem here is that KGO was a lame station until Pete wilson returned to KGO in 2002

  • As a former sat truck guy from 1990-1999 this is funny!! Love it! I bet that Peterbuilt would leave the brazilian (P.O.S.) Ford I had in the dirt..

  • Cute! At those speeds, I wonder how many gallons per mile that puppy burns?
