LMP claims she didn't know the marriage was arranged for PR, and that she wasn't a part of the plan, but "If I asked you to marry me, would you do it?" is not a marriage proposal and has nothing to do with love. "I'm trying to say it without making [Michael] a bad guy, you know. . . . It's hard to do, because it was such a bad situation and it was so fucked up." (LMP, 2003)

Second, who ever said Michael lied to LMP about his feelings? LMP never said that. She claimed Michael "was a very manipulative person" who led her to think he cared about her. Obviously, that was wishful thinking on her part. Apparently, that was simply what LMP wanted to believe.

He was terrified and desperate. LMP said she was his friend and wanted to help him. Michael was looking for a solution, any solution. Later, LMP claimed Michael misled her into believing he cared about her.

@MissBoogie048 Public relations marriages probably never last long. No one was surprised that PR marriage didn't. They didn't have anything in common and she wasn't even his type. As soon as Debbie Rowe offered to have children for Michael, he walked out on LMP. Rowe miscarried their first child before he and LMP were divorced and she was 6 months pregnent when they married later that same year, so Michael didn't waste any time. He quickly replaced LMP with Rowe and he didn't want to look back.

There are actually court documents in which Debbie Rowe described the events leading up to her pregnancies. Keep in mind, DR testified under oath.
