I always thought The Simpsons' religious jokes were satirical up until this episode. Then they just started being blasphemous, so I don't like the show anymore. I'm sure people are going to say hateful things to me, but I'm prepared for it because I have the courage to stand up for my beliefs.
@spinemelter2000 - You are correct, to hell with the simpsons, and all the heathen writers, and editors etccc of the show, how dare they insult Christianity, and all the ppl who enjoy this be damned as well. I was 3 mnths old, so I had no awareness of what was happening, I had no choice in the matter and basically it had nothing to do with me apart from my physical presence. I was raised a Catholic, but am now a proud Athiest. Ppl can believe what they want, but I do not think it is blasphemy to make fun of it. And, the priest that baptizes me was just a guy in a dress, pouring water over my head. No saving souls, cleansing sins, only a superstitious ritual.

Again, believe whatever you want, that is your right and I will support that. But be prepared to be made fun of, it will happen get over it. Ppl will make fun of Athiests, I can deal with that. The diff between an anthiest and xtian, Athiests do not want you to go to hell or believe/agree/support that.
