How come the other Corvettes I've looked at don't have "road rash" all over the hood?

But this one, with "only 9800 miles" has its hood covered with "road rash."

So, you'd have us believe that it's completely "normal" for a Corvette with less than 10,000 miles to have its hood covered with "road rash?"

I drove my 2007 C6 corvette for only one winter, the first winter just after I bought it. I put 7000 miles on it that winter and my hood and front bumper was covered in road rash. I had the hood and front bumper repainted after I couldn't get it out with a wheel. It doesn't take much to cause road rash. The guy is not going to risk his reputation & possible legal action by lying about the mileage of a car he is trying to sell. At least I would hope not ;)
