Holding in bad conditions is a way of murdering so one can say the Poles cruelly murdered Soviet PoWs in camps by creating deadly conditions for the PoWs. Gulags, long lines in the food stores with empty shelves, difficulties when travelling between two Russian cities (I am not even talking about travel abroad), brainwashing... Yep, everything was excellent, particularly life conditions.

Consider how people in Russia lived at the cold war and how in the USA. The Russian where not only materially poor, they were not free, they couldnt even think what they wanted. Learning history people think too much about politics and military. That its great to have a big state and so on. That's shit. The way of living in the country is important.

Poland didnt exist officialy on the map and there was no polish government. I am proud because the polish culture didnt die. You should stop seing everything from the military side. History is not only military, thats why the Polish history aint fucked up. Though, there are a lotta military things Poland can be proud of like Hussaria, Bitwa pod Grunwaldem (dont kno how to translate it) and so on. It`s about the culture. Chopin`s music doesn`t belong only to the Polish nation. All the peoples can think Chopin is theirs. Because his music influences people of any origin. Of course, his French ethnic origin and life in France shouldn`t also be forgotten cuz` that was a very important part of his life. In France he created a lot.

And they were very weak and couldn`t protect their country when Prussia, Russia and Austria partitioned Poland. Partitions of Poland showed how weak Poland was.

Mój kolega ma ciotkę która wyjechała do Kanady jak była młoda. Teraz kiedy zbliża się czas emerytury ma dylemat, bo tam ułożyła sobie życie, ma dom, przyjaciół a tutaj właściwie musi układać życie na nowo. I know that I am wrong when I trust the western historians too much. But what can I do? Its impossible to know whats true. I only know what different historians say, and they say what somebody other said before. Now i know what you think, and that youre claiming to be the only person to know the real history. I agree that Poland was really weak in 1939 ,it was obvious that France or England will not help us...it was not worh it from their point of view. I also agree that our history is full of crap. Gulags, long lines in the food stores with empty shelves, difficulties when travelling between two Russian cities (I am not even talking about travel abroad), brainwashing... Yep, everything was excellent, particularly life conditions.

Consider how people in Russia lived at the cold war and how in the USA. The Russian where not only materially poor, they were not free, they couldnt even think what they wanted. They lost against themselves. The Russian government did and does everything to put nationalistic thinking into the heads of his citizens. Learning history people think too much about politics and military. That its great to have a big state and so on. That's shit. The way of living in the country is important.

Poland didnt exist officialy on the map and there was no polish government. I am proud because the polish culture didnt die. You should stop seing everything from the military side. History is not only military, thats why the Polish history aint fucked up. Though, there are a lotta military things Poland can be proud of like Hussaria, Bitwa pod Grunwaldem (dont kno how to translate it) and so on. It`s about the culture. Chopin`s music doesn`t belong only to the Polish nation. All the peoples can think Chopin is theirs. Because his music influences people of any origin. Of course, his French ethnic origin and life in France shouldn`t also be forgotten cuz` that was a very important part of his life. In France he created a lot.

Why France doesn't have this tradition? ;) For your information there's no more Polish music than Chopin's. He put all Polish soul in his compositions. The reason why Polish people think so is because they recognise their nationality in Chopin's music. You see he had a Polish soul as he grown up in Poland :) HE felt himself Polish and respect that...

@VeradonnaX Of course, I meant his mixed French-Polish origin. My dear VeradonnaX, I know Chopin`s biography very well. So I just suggest to look at his life from the international point of view. I didn`t forget about Chopin`s Polish mother. But the French part of his soul shouldn`t be forgotten as well. And mazurkas and polonaises are based on the Polish folk music but they aren`t folk music themselves because they are created by a certain composer and not by a nation.
