I'm the ex in this situation whose moved on and is happily married. A while back, my ex boyfriend told me to listen to this song (had never heard it before he told me) and specifically wanted me to hear the acoustic version. He said it tells his story perfectly and how he feels about me. She does such a great job of showing the raw emotion of the other person. I would have never known precisely how he felt (we broke up in 2001). My heart bleeds for him and I TRULY hope he finds happiness.
