The song " I Can Sing a Rainbow" was based on a nursery song from their youth, but that will go with "Love Is Blue". A lot of kids from kindergarden never heard of the intro where it leads to "love Is Blue". That fits very well.

My dad Bryan Blackburn wrote the song "Love Is Blue". I have his original gold record from the Peters and Lee version which was the original release. I grew up loving the Dells version the most though

I must say I had the great oppertunity of hearing and seeing them imperson many years ago..in Buffalo, NY..they alway's sang this song...every song they sang sounded just like the record..they were and are one of the finest rythum and blues groups that I can say that I alway's enjoyed their performance..alway's gave the crowd their monies worth.
