crime has gone up sense black government took over look at crime stats only crime that's going down is murder and just by a bit all other crime increased by more then 50%
SA is no longer independent of food imports because all the farmers(mostly white) are leaving because of hate crimes
i hate the cbd of jhb. i work in parktown and is very close to the cbd everytime there is a march you begin to stress. you never know what will happen.

I grew up in Yeoville lived in Hillbrow before going traveling in 1990 ... and never returned only for a couple of brief holidays and my brothers funeral he was murdered on Harrow Rd for a few pennies in his pocket ..scary place ...such a beautiful country in such contrast .

I worked at Picadilly cinema in the mid 80's.. during school hols , I went to Jo'burg city clubs mostly .. like The Junction I live in the UK now , miss SA a lot tho ..went back 4 years ago , raised funds for an Orphaniage in Swaziland and saw SA in a good light while I was out there, but a tough place to live for sure, my sister works in Bramfontein ..right in Jo'burg Centre ...scares the hell out of me really !

@pierangela69 I am an American who lived in Yeoville in the mid 80's at the Xanadu Apts on Cavendish.
Used to Jol a bit on Rockey st at Rumours. Rumours was on the West side of the street just before Bezuidenhout.
we may have met...ya never know.
i used to walk up and down Harrow from Able to Raleigh back in the day....I certainly wouldn't now.

I lived there in 1976 for a year before moving to Randburg. I was the thing everyone did, live in Hillbrow before moving to the suburbs!
