@alupihan Yep. The later minigames give you even less time - collecting time blossoms becomes essential.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I thought you had to get all the treasure or something, but apparently all you have to do is guide him to the exit and then dig at the exit......lol....I didn't understand the goal of the whole thing...but your vid helped a lot!

I would so love to say that this helps.... but I have the game on the WII so I need it for that. plus, not all of us have Greensprout. I don't have Greensprout when I'm trying to do this. I wanna do this right away but I can't because I don't have that one technique. Plus there's not enough time. I don't now how you did it.

@DarkAngelLight90 You don't actually NEED the greensprout technique. I just used it in this video to illustrate the possibility of using it.

You can (should) avoid breaking the block with the money at 2:04. Again, I used it to show the technique.

Use the Bloom (circle) brush stroke on Bingo to make him run faster.

And: Collect every time bud along the path. There's no reason you can't finish this challenge without enough practice.

@theranmafan That makes more sense but still.... I never got enough time. Your time runs slower then mine. I do everything the (near) exact same way as you and I run out of time. Even with using bloom on the guy. Plus I run out of ink pots. When did you do this? Before or after Sei-an? I tried before it and I always ran out of ink pots. I still run out of ink pots and I'm at max now.

@DarkAngelLight90 I don't think the time runs slower. At the time I made these videos I'd already done 6 dry runs before the actual recording, so I had the entire run pretty much ingrained into my muscle memory. I don't remember when I did this but it was as soon as I could gain access to this minigame. If you need the golden ink pot, check out my FAQ on GameFAQs titled 'Floral Finishers' on how to get enough demon fangs to buy it. =)

Just beat it -- but I had to take the straightforward way and follow Bingo all the way. I kept running out of time this way because sometimes the wii brushstrokes don't register (ran out of so much ink trying to circle those buds)

Important note on how the game registers brush strokes: The number of strokes, and the number of points along which they connect is what matters most. You could draw a square and it would probably register as a circle. I wished I'd made a video showing how to screw around with brush strokes and still get them to work...

Well done for posting this video, but actually I think you made it a lot more complicated than needs be, I did it with only 4 or 5 buds (I think) on the way, took Bingo with me, and keeping pretty much to the same route the whole time, and had 23 seconds to spare at the end.

However you are the one who made the video, kudos to you for that, and I also didn't know about the vine (tree?) working in these games, I have never needed it yet though...sure it will come in handy.

At 2:10 you grow like vines from the ground to push him up onto the next block but when I got to that part the vines wouldn't come up :(

I got really angry at muself cuz I got stuck here for so long...

I'm playing the Wii version; and I find it kinda strange that during this digging game, whenever I draw a perfect circle to bloom a bud, a Galestorm comes out instead... ie. in order to bloom a bud successfully, I need to suck with the drawing... now that doesn't really make sense... Well, I guess this is intended for people with shaky hands... =_=

I think it may be how the game reads your brushstrokes. Try drawing the circle from the top (12 o'clock position) instead of starting at the bottom?

I've noticed the game reads brushstrokes in a very specific manner...

Yeah, I'll try drawing the circles from different positions next time. I usually draw my circles from the top though, but not exactly at the 12 o'clock position.

I don't mean to brag but I think the way I accomplished it was more easier and faster.

Just go down completely (after collecting the first 2 buds) and continue forward until the second waterspout, get that Bingo guy up then jump up with him... and then continue exactly just like you did later here. Much faster I think.

Actually on the second playthrough. I only got the idea to do this video walkthrough after I'd beaten it once.

Trust me, the way I did it was a little bit faster since you can actually make Bingo run once you've cleared the way for him.

well i beat it i found an easiy way to beat it i had 1 minute and 20 seconds thats my record if the bamboo girl is on the ledge and she tries to walk off it (into water spout) keep using galestrom to blow her the right way then dig the block hope this helps everyone
