at my 18th i had a dj and i asked if he could teach me how to mix and all that so i could do my own lil set. i wasnt the best at it but the 100 odd ppl at my party went off. i was playing new electro and some comercial crap. but you do have to play comercial to keep the party alive. but doing it in front of 25000 ppl? fuckin hell that would be hard. where as at my 18 i was just blind and had a hack at it.

I know Ivan Gough & he's a good DJ (even if he likes to play boring progressive) - but let's face it, local DJ's in Melbourne get paid shit, so that's why he's producing pop songs for the masses - it's where the money is.
