Just to inform the people who say "Lea is 10 times better than this!": Lea Michele played Wendla Bergman who has NO SOLOS IN THIS SONG. The character Ilse has the solos in this song. So stop acting like you know everything.

Comparing this version with 90210's is probably the dumbest thing ever. 90210 is a TV show. It's not even a musical TV show, it's a drama. This is theatre. They didn't do it to sound professional or compete, it was just for the show. Chill your butts down. Jeez. I love 90210 and I love theatre. Both are good, but in completely different ways. My gosh.

I'm currently rehearsing to play Martha in Spring Awakening and we are doing the Mama reprise as a much bigger chorus version and it sounds amazing when all the parts are together but it is freakishly difficult. Martha's harmonies are ridiculous. But put together it sounds epic.

Honestly, I love Spring Awakening...my best friend is obsessed with it, and she made me listen to the whole CD...but I don't like this song at all, I much prefer the Lea solo version to the reprise.

At my school, the choir had a fundraiser in November and a group of girls sang this and absolutely nailed it. They made me fall in love with this song. Both versions (this and the one at my school) were so, sooo good! Love this song, love the musical.
