@Dxb0y9: It we knew what causes liver cancer in ferrets, we might know what causes it in people. Unfortunately, we don't. It just happens. Alas, it happens a lot to little ferrets.

How do you get permission to use real songs in videos? Cool video by the way I'm glad the ferret is doing well. I would recommend leaving any text on screen for a slightly longer time as I felt they were flashing in and out too quickly.

Sometimes I just ask first. It doesn't always matter; YT is a bit nuts about it.

Sometimes the music is just on in the background.

Sometimes I use music from groups that have not been around for over 40 years, were never terribly popular with the masses, and are no longer covered by copyright.

And, yeah, I forget that I read super- fast, and most other people don't. It is something I need to work on.

As noted, ferret improved from initial illness, but then got a worse disease and died.

damn this video actually made me cry .. i own two ferrets dynasty and gordo and when i saw the part of ur ferret sick.. that broke my heart..i dont wanna c my two babies like that ill probably cry my self out=[ but its a wonderful ferret ... i hate them people that abuse this lil fellaz they are like kids to me all my expenses goes to them. i love my two ferrets to death.

Pets are a joy 99.9% of the time (the other 0.1% being when they break something, etc., *grin*), and worth the expense and time.

Thank goodness there are ferret parents like you out there. I'm a ferret rescue volunteer, and you know, most people would have just dumped him in a shelter. I've done the kind of hospice care you dealt with in your home, I know it's some of the hardest work we're ever asked to do... But kudos to you for doing it. This video made my heart smile.

Murphy is alive and well and doing great. He turned a year old in August. Mr. Woozle's other ferret buddies live six hours away, so he didn't get to see them as often as he liked, and Murphy has not met them yet.

I had 6 ferrets...2 passed away in the past year or so...i've had them since they were babies...i have 4 left and love them dearly...one of mine was abused...his mouth can't open all the way...the vet said he probably had his jaws broken by someone (i don't want to know how)...it took him over a year or so to finally relax and learn he is safe with us...looks like yours is living a good life though...they steal your heart don't they?...loved the video.

Yes, I too had a ferret that I adopted that got a tumor - we loved him dearly - His name was Fatty Ferret. We now have a ferret with a clogged intestine that needs surgery. They keep me busy - but they are the cutest and funnest pets ever

Mr. Woozle died tonight (December 20th). It was peaceful, and he died while being cuddled and talked to and soothed. He will be missed.

That just makes me cry. Know two people who had their pets die on them, never a good thing except for the fact they died being loved.

Never a good thing. I know two people who lost their pets that way.

First, the bird finally allowed herself to be held and stroked then died soon after.

The second, a cat who died in their arms while being tended to in much the same way.

Only good thing is at least the pets never died alone, my condolences nonetheless.

They were both fixed, so, no. In fact, it is rare to find a non-fixed ferret in the US; the vast majority are Marshall Farms ferrets (they will have two blue tattoo dots on one ear, which mean they are fixed and de-scented).

I found a ferret seller down here, but it's a pet mill kind of store, and the manager wanted to flex his authoritah and wouldn't let my animal socialize with the store ferrets, so we went home without a new little buddy or two for EFG.
