This is only a rumor as far as I know but, I heared that the producers of the new Knight Rider series have talked William Daniels into doing the voice again. also, i've been told a new commercial was seen on NBC the other day for the new tv series starting Sept. 24th 2008
The commercial (I finally Seen) is for Knight 3000. as far as the Voice, it has to be for the Kitt-classic, I was under the impression it was for the knight 3000 but didn't realize Val Kilmer was doing the voice for Knight 3000 tv series until after my post

William Daniels definitely is providing the voice for kitt..but not in tv series...he is doing kitt's voice for the new knight rider Mio gps system.
