I've seen him stalk and kill birds before. Most of the time he just likes to watch and have his predatory instincts titillated by the birds that feed in our back yard. This one time, though, a young bird fell to the ground after eating some seed. He picked that sucker off in a heartbeat.

I think he's only killed five or six animals. Honestly, I don't mind as long as he keeps the guts outside of the house.  He's a cat, he likes to hunt. It is more natural for him to eat a bird than from a can.

I live out in da 'burbs, so there are a lot of vermin out here. There is even a civil war battlefield park virtually next door. I won't even let my cat out at night because I've seen news reports about coyotes and stuff out there.

My brother had to go back to MOS school for some retraining, so we're borrowing his dog. My cat straight jacked that dog up. Unless a cat was raised by a sissy, it will stand up to anything.

Usually its because dogs eitehr grow up with cats, or the cat is too fast. Per pound cats are deadlier, so the dog needs to pretty large. In a fight, a 10lb cat would own a 10lb dog.

It is also pretty easy for a cat that is the same size of a german shepherd to completely wtfpwn any dog. Cats per pound are far faster and deadlier than any dog. That cat might weigh 15 lbs? He would faceroll a 15lb dog, and eat it too.
