  • That roar of air superiority gets me everytume.

  • wow this is one of the better videos I've seen of the F22 displaying maneuvers I have yet to see in other videos. Fantastic!

  • I had a whole group of F22's fly over my house in North Carolina one time. It was amazing.

  • Thanks!...I get a "Woody" everytime I view this!!!(Almost as good as my "slightly-drunk" gf in in fishnets & highheels on my BDay!) ....

  • Natafar I thank you for your comment

  • This is one of the best F-22 demo videos I've seen and most in part due to the great sound recording. My videos are pretty good but that takeoff is deafeningly loud and awesome. Good job!

  • At least our tax dollars are paying for something awesome.

  • Дерьмолёт.

  • take a good look at that 150million dollar plane

  • To bad we can't afford to by any more.

  • I just listened to this on full voume with headphones. Safe to say my ear drums have exploded. What a plane!

  • you heard it here children..dont mess with the united states....

  • hah 0:20, F-35 will not be able to do so.

on the upper surface of the wings, because of the pressure difference appeared fog ... Engines are good:)

  • Dear .... Santa, oh oh o o please !!!

  • Discovery - F22 vs SU-37

  • @MegaZiglo nice Russian documentary. European simulations have a 10-1 kill ratio in favour of the raptor vs su35. This includes both bvr and wvr combined. Don't misunderstand the SU is a great platform but even the French are confident the Rafale takes it at a 3-1 ratio....

  • ...great video. Very skillfully captured.

  • FUKIN LUV THAT SOUND!!!!

  • Amazing Fighter Jet. The things this jet can do is beyond what us YT ppl can will ever know. F-22 RAPTOR aka "No Fly Zone".

  • Love the Burner

  • I was there on the sunday, it was amazing!!!

  • FUCKING AMAZING!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is an awesome video. check out my airshow videos (sound quality is fantastic)

  • Damn!!

  • FUCK YEAH!!

  • Now that my kind of display. Fast and loud!

  • Air Combat Command's F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team successfully completed the first ever trans-Atlantic deployment for the F-22 Raptor July 15.

    thanx ;)

  • There are planes and weapons in Area 51 that are 50 years ahead of other countries.

  • actually, this whole hold/cancel started with Gates under the Bush administration, Obama made it worse re cancellation of the last 10 planes. It's not a given re firing up the program at a later date, why do that in the first place? It increases unit cost. and

  • The F-22 can fly at low speeds that would cause other fighters to stall. And it is not sluggish at all. It has a combined 70,000 pounds of thrust. More than any other fighter in the world.

  • Per L.M. an early site, the thrust is 39,000 per, the weenies have downplayed that to 35,000 per.

  • actually the 35,000 is only when engines are at 100%. given the right altitude in burner these will put out around 39,000

  • @lankygiant16 OK, that clarifies it. thnx. LM didn't bother to.LOL.

Once enough Sheckles are put into the F-35 fiasco, do you think they might back door a few more 22s?

100 more would do to the skies what the Nimitz class carrier does to blue water.

    Untouchable!!

  • @nwtruckerll once the US gets another republican in office, hopefully they'll start up the programs obama stopped, like the 22 and ABL 747.

  • @lankygiant16 Robert Gates brought up the subject to Congress, and he was George Bush's defense secretary too. Obviously, this was a nonpartisan decision that was made to accommodate the US military's current situation. What's the point of the ultimate stealth jet if most of our foreseeable belligerents are using unguided RPGs and small arms, and not even planes? F22s also have an insane maintenance cost, and even more people would be complaining about excessive government spending otherwise.

  • @ChowMein09 If you knew anything about U.S. aircraft preventative maintenance, you would know that EVERY jet is very expensive to keep operational.

  • @lankygiant16 Yes, but planes made with materials like the F22's stealth coating are especially expensive. B2s have to be kept in a hangar with perfect temperature/humidity, and engines as powerful as the F22's are more often subjected to inspections. Its combat readiness levels weren't that high a few years ago, either, about 40% or 30%.

  • @ChowMein09 i can guarantee u the squadron im in is sitting at 100% combat readiness, with the most combat ready pilots.

  • @ChowMein09 LOL, check out a few of the F22 vides out there, watching them sprayed with co2 to check out their cold weather capabilities. 4 sit idling 24/7 at Elmendorf in AK. There is nothing out there even on the drawing boards that can touch it. All the noise is from pushing the F35 program with "joint" financing to copy the Euro-fighter, neither of which is in the 22's league.

  • This clip is edited like a bad 1980s Kung Fu flick! But that 4 second, 180 degree turn at 6:56 was amazing and he still had enough power to go vertical. 35,000 Ibs. of thrust per engine? Im gonna guess it's closer to 40,000 Ibs. of thrust. Time will tell!...

  • Awesome vid! Editing could be better, and the quality wasn't that good, but the camera work was very nice.

  • What a plane!!!! Poetry in motion..

  • Super vid, some nifty camera work too, wish I coulda saw that, shame it got cancelled the day before i was going!

  • there were 2 raptors that came coz they came over my house! i was like wtf!

  • this thing is awesome don't get me wrong, just looks a bit sluggish compared to the eurofighter just doesn't seem as agile as it's made out to be

  • I think it's more the style of the routine, showing off the slow speed high AoA stuff. The F-16 demo also looks a lot faster than the F-22, but side to side the F-16 can barely keep up with the22 in a climb even in full afterburner.

  • @EarlMcCrackin

Yeah man it's like a heavy weight boxer vs. a light weight. The lighter guy may seem more agile and nimble but the heavy weight can be just as fast and carries a much bigger punch!

  • @bujoun76 f-15, 16 to18 degrees per second turn rate, su-37 22 degrees per second turn rate, f-22 28 degrees per second turn rate!!! Big and agile. UNTOUCHABLE.

  • @nwtruckerll you need to clarify the altitude and weight and stores on the plane. Big difference

  • @19Clutch69 , hmm, maybe. There isn't much wiggle room weight/store-wise on the 22. Don't know any other platform that performs ACM at 65,000 plus. Any "speed" advantage with the SU is degraded the closer to the deck, 173 kNs will push the 22 faster on the deck,at a guess, I can't see any scenario where the SU has the advantage. CTR at 10,000 for the 22 is 28 degrees per sec. SU is 22/sec. BVR is no contest. Am I missing something here?

  • @EarlMcCrackin i think the f-16 shows look faster because that aircraft is alot smaller. but they are both amazing aircraft

  • @EarlMcCrackin I was just a Fairfor yesterday 2010 and the Raptor was there. And it is a lot faster than the F-16 climbing and in a straight line!

  • Its not a bit sluggish, it shows how slow and how fast it can go all in the one demo, its just the most amazing plane..

  • @megatoebunger

Probably because its way bigger than the Typhoon.

  • Can I jus say....nice vid n all but also...fair play to the cameraman! nice work!!

  • lol, your an idiot. and so far from the truth it's not even funny. they didn't cancel the project. they only put a hold on any future orders. which will likely resume again after the next congressional meeting in 2010 for this.

    find reality buddy

  • @VodkaAce yup, gotta wait for the bankrupt country to print more money

  • Yeah this is a P+V site located very close to the Rhymes Barn Farm campsite located on the right side of the runway if your looking down it with the hangers behind you. Its a great spot, right on the flightline

  • i liked the take off it sounded just as it did when ifirst saw it

  • Nice fishhook turn at 1:00

  • You cut off most of the key maneuvers in the demonstration.

  • good video. Just out of interest, i notice you videoed this from the P+V. How do you get to there and does it cost? TIA
