in alcuni passaggi fa pena, in altri la classe è indubbia... semplicemente Aida è - almeno a questo punto della sua carriera - già troppo pesante per lei.

Why on earth did she stop singing like this and take on Lady Macbeth and Turandot. It's like she believed because she had a big voice she should sing all those roles. Joan Sutherland had a huge voice and she never sang Lady Macbeth and only recorded Turandot in studio. Like, WHAT is the deal?

@LiricumLord la prima volta ho sentito La Dimitrova dal vivo nel 1968 . Anche ho visto i primi passi di Ghuleghina e ho seghuito quasi tutta la sua carriera.Per lei quello che ho scritto e una menzogna,rispetto la sua opignone una domanda sola puo dirmi per favore in che anno ha sentito/a La Dimitrova dal vivo ?Adoro la voce di Ghuleghina ,ma una bella voce soltanto non basta per me...

I'm surprised: she is much sweeter-toned, softer and more precise than I'd normally think. Her metallic voice is controlled beautifully and its warmth sails through very well. She could use her piano singing even better, but for her dramatic voice I think she's excellent, and the final pianissimo is great. Acting is very good.
