  • Amazing songs...can anybody tell me whats the name of the Russian song that is played on Suleyman the Magnificent movie? The one dedicated to Hyrem Sulltan?

  • I like it. Today i got to know Omar Faruk , his music is like Greek, Turkish.. and reminds me of my origins and roots, and so it touches me.

  • beautiful music I hope you like my reciting on it

  • enjoyed the information you posted. If anyone has ever played music they will most likely understand what O.F.T is referring to... as to the comment for the instructions to improve the quality of the sound &FMT=18 - what the crap is that? Must have to be an engineer or computer tech to get that.....

  • this is art :) love it

  • Hello Tiad - the pieces of my puzzle are coming together. I think that 2nd song following Ayasofya is from 'Suleyman The Magnificent' by Brian Keane. Unfortunately the hunt is still on because it's not this song. I'll have to search for Brian Keane music rather than Tekbilek to find it I think. Thank you so much Tiad.

  • This kind of music was used by the oTToMans for relaxation and treating people with mental problems.. sufi/mystique style.. it's so Pure and from the hart it sounds like musiki..

**Beethoven wrote his symphonies according the notes of "musiki".(nice to know)

  • cool I like this kind of stuff... kind of new age i guess but I like this Nice short piece it could be part of a movie...

Never heard this guy before, thanks for posting it and sharing it with us I'm going to check him out more. I see you have a few more! cool! I have a ton of this type of music of my own.. original... I post some in response for you.. thanks!

  • No, it is not "new age" but very special and beautiful music. Composed by Briane Keane & Omar Faruk Tekbilek for the movie "Suleyman The Magnificient". There is also a whole album with same name. Check it out. It is worth. By the way O.F.Tekbilek is absolutely unique and imho not comparable with other "new age music" musicians.

  • I dunno... I like new age type stuff and this leans a lot in that direction but you are right it aint really new age... I do a lot of this type of music myself I call it NO AGE MUSIC because it is timeless sounding. I worked with Kitaro on a few of his albums... now that IS new age in fact he started all the new thing way back when he did Silk Road in the early 60's... He just moved to my town too! Lovely man and I like his music too!

I Like this a lot... Cool! you post some great stuff!

  • OK...thanks....I planned already to upload some extraordinary Kitaro tracks ..soon...

  • Damn! I just did the &fmt=18 at the end of one of my posted videos and your are right! WOW a HUGE difference.. It's real stereo and bright and punchy not narrow and flat!

can you save em like that and make em always play back clean?

fuckin great! i hated that it made it narrow and flat and sucked out the life... this works awesome... best tip i have ever gotten about this stuff you rock Thanks! I will tell people too. Life is too short to listen to crappy audio and eat junk food.

  • Put &fmt=18 at the end of the URL to listen in Stereo an much better audio quality !

  • The Story Of Suleyman - A masterpiece from the Album "Omar Faruk Tekbilek & Brian Keane - Süleyman The Magnificent"(1992). Listen & Enjoy it.
