I still believe the original intent was to have 2 parallels universes created from the H-Bomb. Walt could have been the only one to know about it or to connect with his other self. I think they backed out of the idea because people on the internet were too close to understanding it and it would have been pretty similar to Fringe too.

What i want to know is about walt. they took him at end of season 1. then they returned him and said he was unique and was in 2 places at once...

AND NEVER EVER FOLLOWED THAT UP. like wtf.what did he do with the others that they learned this??and why and how and wtf??????

I agree, it never explained what the others really needed him for, It never even explained what happened to those 2 other kids thy took. It still have me thinking, I wonder what's gonna happen in season 6

Acutally the only thing that happened to the two other kids and that women Cindy is that they just arrived to The Others camp to get a better life.. perhaps the others didn´t want the children to die in the jungle and maybe they needed Cindy for some unknown reason.. but Walts story hasen´t been reveld.

Yeah, did you see them on the premiere last Tuesday, Cindy seems happy with them now, But I wonder if those kids are happy also after seem them serve the food to Kate and rest of them.

Actually I live in Sweden, so we have to wait about a month before it is shown on Swedish TV, but I think they children and Cindy is there for a reason that will be reveled, but I´m mostly excited about Walts story, one of the reasons why is because he was there from the beginning, one of the Oceanic 815.

Yeah probably just wanted him because he would be useful to their work and wanted to raise him on the island. The reason they let him leave was because they tried to brainwash him but his powers were becoming too much for them to handle, so they wanted him gone. Why he has such power in the first place I don't know...
