Big difference between me being a gay guy and that. I never wanted to be a woman...seems contradictary to being gay

But I just don't see it as a gay issue. If you are not comfortable being a guy, you cannot be comfortable being a gay guy....

@monokhem Your gender/sexuality is an inate part of you. Trans/gay trans people people cannot identify as anything other than that. It is hardwired. The brain cannot be changed to match the body, so the body has to be changed. If no action is taken, the individual may well kill themselves. The trans suicide rate is 1 in 3. These people want only to live a life as their true selves, how they feel inside. You say when the gay stigma is gone trans folk will vanish. Not true. Gender =/= sexuality
