  • Very cool. I have found a fair amount of gold rings in my time but I think finding gold in its natural state is the ultimate. Congrats and thanks for sharing!

  • great job and thanks for posting. Im sure that many new people will buy metal detectors after watching your videos.

  • great job and thanks for postin

  • how much was all that that you found?

  • @pottyab i dont remember, it wasnt much, from what i looked at again, it was most likely around 2-3 grams

  • i'm excited just watching, i can't imagine how you must have felt! at what depth would you say you found most of these? were they mostly on the surface? 1-2 inches deep?

  • most were in the first few inches all were shallow and had bed rock underneath, with the exception of the one i found in the sand, i hit this spot just as winter was over- and no one really had a chance to do the same. it was a blast and now i want to go to Arizona to do the same.

  • very cool, and thanks for that info. you had one hell of a fortunate day! hopefully many more will follow.

  • I love this 2 part segment. This video is what inspired me to buy my x terra. Nice work!

  • hope for the best for you. i really stand behind this detecter becouse it is so rugged and controlable. it also has many options for coils too. and so fare for the price i havnt see anything that can go as deep ether!

  • thank you....

  • HI scorpion I bought a x-terra 70 two months ago. havent found any gold though, but can you answer some questions and post your settings on the display? No threshold and sensitivity up or sensitivty down and threshold up?

I have found numberous Miner Nails bullets and such. I hope you can post another prospecting video. I watch yours all the time gets me motivated.

  • when i went down to the river. i started out by setting the thresh hold , at about 18.. and sen, about 9.... i had a lot of iron hot rock beeps and i had to dig at a ratio 20 holes to 1 just to find a nugget. needless to say i was tired and my knees killed. if you are lucky you can find more, just hope that the ground that you are hunting is not over burdend with hot rocks. good luck! oh yah did you mean a 16 gm or 16 toz?

  • I hope my prospecting goes as well....

    Nice work,

    Keep @ It and HH!!

  • and i wish you all the luck but save me a couple of nuggets to find...please?...lol

  • very very acceptable. nice finds! make some around the beach or in the ocean. you will gain more viewers. im a huge fan.

PS: What do you think about my "goldwaschtrommel" shown in my videos

  • i think it is a very neat trommel, never seen one like it, how well does it work.? thanks for accepting my invite!

  • Very nice gold prospecting video, thank you very much.

  • thank you very much!

  • You did not have to bad of a day hun...But I think you need someone to help you tape..You got someone in mind...

  • noo? do you. have them send me a e/mail!...lol

  • Nice finds! Are there places to camp? say, for the weekend? I really like your type of hunt. The possibilities are truly endless.

  • there are many camp grounds along the river. and at mineral bar, there is alot more open at this site after spring opening. good luck.

  • is this in california

  • why yes it is, just out side of colfax calif. on the north fork of the american river.

  • great vid

  • thanks you!

  • Looks like that elliptical coil did you well! GJ bro!

  • thanks, i do say it was very good with the dbl d coil but i want the smaller 3" coil dbl d so i can pick up on finer stuff.

  • Sorry i meant 6inch coil. That would be crazy if Minelab made a 3inch. I hear the 6 inch is better is trashy areas but not sure about how it will perform in mineralized ground, should be decent. Have you seen the youtube video of DD vs Micro nugget from NeroDesign?

  • yes i have seen the video, and it looks way cool, i want it for shure. the last time i went to my dealer i aked about it and now i am trying to figure out how to afford it. the cost is ok i just need to think it out...

  • Great video! Man how much does all that come to in dollars and cent? congrat on your hunt and finds.

  • about 60.00 bucks. its a good start, now that i am armed with the x terra and soon a newer dredge its all up hill from here!

  • Awesome!, A few more hunts like that and your detector will be paid for ! How Cool is that....

  • thats true.. i want to find a spot that is not so ruff and over worked- this year we did have any magor flooding of the river in that area or for fact any were in nor cal, so the pickens are going to get slim till the over burdern gets moved down river.

but i am going to try and find more stay tuned..

  • opps sorry i didnt really answer your Q? did i.. well lets see over the week end gold was at $30.00 a gram and the weight can out to 1.68g so thats allmost60.00 bucks. not bad huh?
