My problem in this game is always "Maximum Building Capacity Reached". It happens before i even built half my city. Really destroys the game. Anyone knows how to fix it to increase the maximum buildings and workers allowed? some ini file or something?

25 k aint a world record, you can download a 100 000K city (4 times your population) from their website )))))) But good city anyways

*Sigh* I wish I could trade in Pharaoh for Emperor. The Egypt version of this game is still great, but I would much prefer China. :P

It's alright, though. I have much fun in my small, limited demo mission. :)

Search "heavengames emperor" in google and click the first result. On the left you'll see "completed cities", in the second page you'll see the 100k city save. It has 81% unemployment.

Big deal. My city was only 2,000 people. But, you know what? They were happy! Everybody knew everyone else and were always anxious to hear the latest gossip. The citizens would say how my city glory burns brighter than the New Year's fireworks. It was a wonderful little burg. That is until I closed everything down and enacted martial law on the general public. Ah, they had it coming.

@darthkarr it depends on wht age u play ie iron age, i think something like that.

@darthkarr You need to set the age to "steel age" on a random map or play the campaign to the end. These "technologies" are not available until later in China's history so you won't see them until the steel age. Sort of how you don't see Buddhist or Taoist buildings until they are historically applicable.

@parkour720 This is more of a city building game whereas Age of Empires is more of a quick shit city building war game, (AOE focuses more on rape whilst Emporer focuses more on Cities and has the worst military system I've ever seen)

i build in a colonial type grid, is not really the best way to distribute cause the walkers dont go to where they must go most of the times

I use highly efficient pop to workers needed blocks, I get like 2600 pop from a single one, and I only use one of each needed building for them, it's not impressive but highly efficient, for instance in most of my campaign maps that I could make silk, I had tons of it, over 200 units sold / year

i can get 20k+ in chengan with elite house and 12 military units

its a shame they have building limit even though theres still space on the map

on the fansite of this game, theres a download for a 100k city. 100k is max and every bit of land is used. 2 foods are imported to save space and the whole thing is hueg.

this game is easy.

if it wasnt for the problem when you are building buildings far from the houses u dont have to worry in emperor, but in games like pharaoh and caesar 3 its a pretty difficult thing.

You can make easy money by trading.People build elite housing for mission requirements,at leat that's what i do,i think trading is more profitable.
