  • I have a vn 1600. my next bike will be the 2000. I dont see the need to try to increase hp. I will just add bags and grips phat risers ect. I have to say that is a very nice bike. Did you do the paint? looks great.

  • @sopark434 That's totally awesome brother. You are very right about not needing to improve the HP, these bikes have plenty right off the lot. Thank you for the compliment, my bike and I appreciate it ;)

You are going to love your new bike my friend.

Also, no I can't take credit for the paint, it came like that. They only made a limited amount of these with that paint and I really enjoy it too. Be safe and thanks for dropping by.

  • good stuff. thanks for the info. i will look you up when im around the olympia area. beers on me.

  • great sound. i just picked up a 2005 vulcan 2000 with the hard krome 3" pipes. was it difficult to get the baffles out and install the thunders? im deployed to afghanistan right now and ordering parts to keep me busy when i get back. thanks for the info

  • @jimslevans13 Only took about 30 minutes 12 pack of beer and patience. Worth it tho, you are going to love the sound. Send a video of your sweet bike bro. Always be safe

  • just put mine on n I love em...is there a big difference with the thunder baffles

  • @bmeadows1973 Yes there is a huge deep and cleaner sound. Ride around with them stock and then order a pair and tell them I sent you. You will enjoy your pipes now matter what tho. Be safe my friend.

  • gorgeous sound ... great bike ..... cheers .

  • Thanks JCSpades! You be safe out there too Brother!

  • I own a 1500 Classic.... First Cruiser... Looking foward to a great year... bouncing on the ferrys here outa Bremerton and pounding pavement... Super Nice 2000. I worked Redline Mtr Sports in Tacoma last Yr... HAd one in the shop... What a Beast... Yes very nice exhaust... Im sure your neighbors dig that at 6am...lol Oh well, Enjoy... See ya on the highways and byways... RottonJohnny!

  • @RottonJohnnyBoy Ya Johnny I do believe it's going to be a nice year for ridding. Thanks for the bike compliments. Maybe someday I will see you on one of the rides (Oyster run..) Take care of that 1500. That was actually my next choice if I hadn't bought the VN2000. P.S. neighbors love the rubble of the 747 starting up ;)

  • Dude, i gotta say that is probably the best looking 2000 i've seen! I got its little bro, the 900 classic. I tell ya, i know a guy who has the 2000 and when he pulls up no one cocks off about 125 cubic inches! Harley owners say nothing. period.

  • @mesohornieoma ya brother that 900 classic is a sweet bike too. Pretty much the same bike just a little smaller which is totally fine. And yes I agree about the Harley owners. It's funny how many are trading their Hogs in for the Original "Hog Slayer".

They are finally learning that liquid cooled bikes are the way to go so they can continue to enjoy the "ride" instead of always watching that oil temp... lol

  • @mesohornieoma I tell ya man, the little bro (900) is super amazing and light. I love the beast but if it was as light as yours this bike would be that much more sweet. I really enjoy the 900, sweet bike man. And yes it's true about the Harley owners ;) Be safe out there brother.

  • yo i have the same bike. so much torque i had to put the back rest on. when i would take off the ol lady would amost slide off! i also have the hard chromes... hyper charger, fuel processor, dynoed, ill put a vid up. i also added the stereo to it

  • @1IRISHPRIDE4

For sure m8. I hear ya about the backrest. I put mine on for the ex and she did so good back there didn't even notice her behind me, that's how huge this bike is.

I need a stereo on mine too. I am about to go peep out your video brother.

  • Thank you dude!! I have always loved this bike, and dream to own it. Since I live in a dumb ass country, where people prefer mileage to anything else. I heard that this bike is coming down to India soon. I hope to become a proud owner of this beast, just as you are. loved the way you shot the video, the camera did not take away anything from the bike.. Loved the sound, loved the paint job, the pipes are simply to die for. Make more videos of you and your beast on long rides! I would love em too!

  • Nice work on moving the ignition and centering the fill on the gas tank. I prefer mine up high so I get the most fill on the tank I can. Is that a problem for you? I have an '06 VN2000 with a hyper charger and a power commander. I've not done much in the way of customizing it. You've done a great job with yours...

  • What is the name of the song playing at the start of the video

  • Born To Be Wild by: steppenwolf

  • Sweet bike!! I have a Roadstar right now and saw a v2k in local show room and been thinking about it ever sense. Its porbably going to be in my garage. Only thing stopping me is 2 ft of snow and temps below zero. I hate winter!!

  • @08Kawa750 So my friend, did you ever get the vn2000 yet?

  • Yeah, nice, real nice - since my beard's turnin' white thought it was time to buy a grand-pappy Harley - then i saw the '09 Classic 2000 and fell in lust! 1st new bike i ever owned, out harleys harley in everything but name :-) probably never get a harley now unless a dirt cheap impossible to turn down bargain comes my way - Let the Good Times Roll....

  • I like that beast thing! 07 classic lt, roadhouse slipons. Will have nothing smaller in the future, so when I wear this one out, and if they quit production, which is likely, then I am screwed

  • bought a new 05 Limited as leftover new in march 08...got 28 k on it already....awesome biek, very comfortable even with my 6'4".

  • Sweet Bike!!! I have an '06 with 7k miles on it. Biggest Baddest Bike made. I live in Idaho and my bike + hills = fantastic time. Good job on the video. Make another one of you on the road!!

    Peace

  • good work budy....realy good lokin bike...i have 08...never been out of alaska yet...how is the bike on long trip?

  • Thanks my friend. The bike is so awesome on long rides, way comfortable too! My uncle customized my seats so that may be one of the reasons it was very nice to ride. Be safe. (I love Alaska)

  • @anjajk The bike is silky smooth on long trips. Although I love all bikes, I find it hard not to tell the story about the Sturgis ride and the "Harley Riders".

So as we are riding through all the twisted roads and all the awesome heat, our bikes are cruising along at a steady speed of 80+ and it's funny, on the side of the roads, no joke, for about 30+ miles all we see is all the over heated Harley riders starring down at the oil temp. Just be smart and add liquid cooling to them Hogs....

  • Deffinatly sick bike I just got mine 6 months ago, all stock as of now Im looking to put pipes and a air cleaner on this winter. I wish I could get a set of arlen ness ground pounders but they've been disscontinued

  • There may be quicker cruisers, but were talkin cruisers not crotch rockets. That bike is king. The biggest baddest bull in the field. Kawi got it right with that bike. Cant wait to have one. You got the best looking paint dude. Ride on

  • Dude that is a sick bike, I'm actually going to go buy some of those pipes this weekend for my vulcan, and I think I'm gonna go with these.
