Sure, could be fake... but what would be the point of that?

Would have been a lot more interesting to see the output of the "BatteryGraph" application. The icon on top gives a very rough impression, with as little precision as to be useless for anything but warning that the battery is empty really soon.

Dunno what THEY used, but you can use e.g. mencoder to join images like this into a movie with a single command.

Similar thing happens to me,deains especially fast if I leave IM logged in using msn etc. Any internet connection seems to drain battery fast, if no internet connection is on battery life is almost doubled. Annoying since I thought the point was to be always connected :(

Just go this phone 2 days ago and I'm loving it. Coming from a G1, the OS is so much faster and responsive. The resistive screen is very good, I don't know what all the fuss is about capacitive - the onboard keyboard is pretty responsive. Battery life so far has gotten me through a day with moderate wifi and texting. Hoping for more apps soon!

check gsmarena... they have a clip of it running portrait.... they say its a "glitch" but apparantly the software for it is already written on the phone its just not optimized so its kinda "locked away" some icons are kinda "offscreen" in portrait but its looks good. the browser is fine in portrait. it will be out soon. i got mine a week ago.

to tell u the truth.. i love it. everywhere i go ppl are like wtf is that? and u know the novelty the iphone interface had when it jus came out thats the kinda reaction i get from the desktops alone... its solid in hands and needless to say the web and stability are top notch i got the universal tv remote to work too. the battery isnt bad its gets me through a day of mainly browsing and messenger with few calls (in the office most times).

i did the pre-order thing so maybe i waited a week or a little more but i think that "pre-order" thing is donw with now. it took about 4 days after i got the confirmation e-mail that they were processing my order for me to get it. when they take the money out of ur account its on its way lol.

Hi all! Totally appreciate why some may think it's fake, but I can confirm it's 100% for real. I shot the video, but as we are keeping this series of N900 videos to just 30 secs each - pretty tough :) - it was impossible to show it any more condensed, as it took us an hour and a half to shoot. That piece of footage of the battery at 75% is taken directly after we'd shot all 213 photos - it was crazy, and tricky to do, but fun, and utterly genuine.
