quantum says quant, aka quantity + um/reverse/opposite of mu which is knowing, um is to not know as when you express the sound/word-spell "um", it admits ignorance or initiates the search for an answer, not the answer, they'd not say um if they knew so um provides delay for one to reason, maybe apply logic (el oh gee i c/see) receive from source/G within (stored) or from without/new to knew/prayer answered. learn by qualt-um, quality vs quantity, quantity can be to lil to late or to much to fast

@BankofSpirit When I say 'um' It is generally because I am searching for a way to describe something not readily explainable, in particular, when there simply aren't words to do it. Try describing what it would feel like to be a creature made entirely of gas. See how many ums you do.

@reverendthyris when one is extended a loaded question, for example, "are you still beating your wife?" when both yes/no is disparaging towards one, the wise answer in reply "mu" while to offer its reverse, "um", as reply to questioning, first, is for need of hesitation/delay, search for an answer, the best answer not necessarily the answer/truth, um can be infliction in some, speech tic or a part of their unique audio personality but um isn't a word that would be purposely used in conversation.
