If your a sniper can you shoot through the front "window" of the tank to head-shot the driver? Be epic to be able to, then take out the MG, then go for the tube guy (I'm baked and I cant think of the word).

someone knows how to increase my view from the map?

cause in huge tank maps i can not see more than 1000-1200 meters.

and that range estimation on the tank aim goes up to 5000 meters

@USSZim I tried change the filter to trilinear but it doesnt help so much, probaly because my videocard is a geforce fx5200 (very very old) and I use a 800x600 resolution. So, i asked for some guys on the server and they said to me to use higher resolutions like 1024x768 or higher

by watching this I realise why I stoped playing ROO without Armored Beast mutator.

Its just ridiculous to see shells from IS2 or T34-85 richochet from 50m distance. tanks were definetly (neither Russian nor German onces) that invincble. Particularly not when you managed to hit the turret ring, gun mantlet or tracks. A hit to the gun mantlet or turret ring could cause the electrical firing mechanism of most tanks to jam. In the worst case penetrate and kill the guner/commander.

Though the IS-2 had a 12.2cm main gun. Its armor peircing capabilites were quite poor.(compared to the Kwk 36 and Pak 43) But yes, a shot to the turret ring could paralize most tanks. But at 50m there were many accounts of the soviet 8.5cm rounds bouncing of of Tiger Is at ranges as low as 100m. And since the Panther had sloped armor that was also thick, It isn't unlikly the 8.5cm round would bounce of the Panther as well, even at 50m.

Btw, from what i've read a TIGER I took out a IS2 from around 4500 meters distance with one shell hehe, thats a lucky shot!
