I agree with @finaldestinationkish that 5'7" is not short. For the fashion world perhaps but all the 'and I'm only 5'8" ' really irritated me. I've never heard someone 5'5" and up called short.

They should have been wearing heels to judging, everyone looks better in heels. They do wonders for your legs (and help with the barbie feet concept)

Laura appeals more to the audience yes. Nicole has "high fashion" but it is her common "high fashion" poses which makes her photos quickly boring to look at.

any way, i have only seen cycle 11 and 13. cycle 11 has some great photos that blew me away, lots of high fashion and great poses. cycle 13 didn't have much of either. I wasn't interested enough to see who won in this cycle 13, but one thing i did enjoy learning was that that even decent average looking girls can look like models, lol....

Nicole earned it, she was the most consistent and she is in there for only herself and not to make friends.
