Remember that Sony is Actually a Minolta ! And like Minolta They are leaders in manufacturing and new technology ! Alfa 900 is the best! Scrap the rest ( nikon , canon) !!! ;)

Too expensive for such a camera.

This cam is bad behind ISO 1600. An 5DII easily wins here wit very good ISO behaivor.

I can get 3 a900 for the price of 1 D3x, I love Sony, I know Nikon and Canon are the top 2 camera brands but is because they are being in the market for longer time, give Sony a couple of more years, and you'll see some good things.

This thingie still eats nikons and canons for breakfast and for a lesser price, yes. Minolta labs do own all of this tech, but sony is the boss, so... Whats really pisses me off, if biased photographers don't even want to look at anything for portrait and sports photo, and th sony line beats the shit out of them in any scenario, problem, "cheap" camera, ultra expensive lenses (yet awesomely awesome lenses)... owner 350 580 900 and some of the others too :)

It would be much better and it would sell much better if Sony could rename its line of Photo equipment as Minolta. After all is all Minolta technology and Sony owns the brand.

Nikon and canon is just a hyping to try to catch people attention but undermining what a photocamera is suppose to be..its meant to be a dedicated photo capturing image not a fuckin video recorder....Thats why Sony excels on this..coz we aint paying extra for video capture we are paying for a dedicated photocamera capture device which is what photographers want. Well done Sony......Canon and Nikon, you fuktwits

OK i use a d80, i dont give a fuck about videos i have camcorder for that, with a DSLR i take pics because its a PHOTOCAMERA and Nikon im sorry but if i will get a a900 with the zeiss lens that the same price as a d700 body i will say fuck you nikon, Nikon is making a monopoly now fucking d90 has a different remote that cant go to the d80 WTF?

this is a great camera ... and it's have wight .. more them one kile with the lens and i try it with the flash and 300-75 zoom it was to heavy ..and the price .. about 12,500 Qr .which is 2500 $ ...
