It's still clear to me that the Cavs are indeed a better team than the Magic. I mean, how is it that it takes the Magic six games just to beat the 76ers, at team we lost to by one in overtime without three of our best players, while the Magic had their best in those two games they lost? Simple, 76ers had tall people who could defend them, there for Magic couldn't do shit most of the time. That's a fact right there. Magic are overrated. That is a fact.
hey... guess what... The Cleveland Cavs just proved u wrong. If big Z is better than Shaq as u say he is then why would they trade for Shaq? Oh well, all I know is that Big Z is now a back up... LMAO at ur idiotic theory. How is the "second best center in the NBA" a back up?!?!?! OWNED!!!!
Maybe because Shaq can actually defend? I never said Big Z was a better defender or player, I said he was a much better scorer, which he is. He is definitely the second best Center in terms of shooting in the NBA, and when Cavs go up against Magic again, they will definitely use Shaq for a large portion of that game and pretty much every time Howard is in because Shaq is the only guy who can really answer to him.
no guy u definitely said he was a better player... It doesn't really matter cuz I hafta like the Cavs now seeing as Shaq is my favorite player, but the Magic will always be favorite team.... Vince Carter against Lebron is gonna be unreal if Carter still has it in him, which I thin he does.
I pretty much think that our chances are done now that the Magic have Vince Carter. Sure, Cavs still have the best player, but Nelson+Carter+Howard=Unstoppable. Not to mention Celtics will be healthy again, this is going to be a very hard task for the Cavs now.
Yea were gonna be pretty good... If the Celtics are heaalthy then that's a tough task for anybody to deal with... but at least we have Nelson back. What Cleveland needs is better guard play... Mo Williams isn't that good, they need to get a BIG TIME shooter maybe like ray allen...
Mo's fine. He can't do much on defense, but through out the 2008-09 season he was great, he isn't all star material but he's a great shooter no doubt. What I'm interested in seeing is how good our season will be. We didn't really lose anyone in the trade with Shaq that actually helped us get 66 wins, so most likely the Cavs will get more than 66 wins this year.
bro it's hard to win that many games in the NBA... that's like winning 13-14 games in the NFL... U might but it won't matter if they do what they did this year...
yea but a big factor in this are free agents... If Rasheed Wallace signs with either Orlando or Cleveland then that team is probably the favorite to win the east. I'd like for him to go to Orlando but I'll be ok with it if he goes to Cleveland cuz I like Shaq...
Lets not forget about Turkalu or w/e way its spelled, that guy who got the game winning shot for Orlando in Game 1. He would be a great addition to the Cavs who already have a lot of good three point shooters.
yea but Sheed is more versatile.... he can play C or PF and he can hit the 3 or post up. If he came to Orlando it would give us a lot of options because Lewis would be able to play SF and Carter would play SG. So it would make us bigger against most teams and tougher to defend.
Well that can't be determined at the beggining of a season. The 2004 Lakers had an incredibly stacked team. Every position, PG, SG, SF, PF, C, each starter in those positions expect Rick Fox, who was in the SF position, were voted into the all star team, and even though they had a bad season record only because of a lot of injuries, they were still favored to win it all. What happened? They lost...in five games. Teams can look great, but they can still end up losing in the end.
yea but that was a very old team... and they faced probably the greatest coach in the history of basketball in those NBA finals... and a much younger and quicker team
Not to mention that team was amazing defensivly. But now it looks like both the Cavs and Magic's chances are cut short...Lakers just got Ron Artest...fuck
So what.... They still have to contend w/ Denver, San Antonio, Utah, Houston, and a ton of other teams in the very stacked western conference. It took them 7 games to beat Houston w/o McGrady or Yao Ming.... they won't get back and if they do they won't win it. And if they can't win it this year then it'll be forever before they do again cuz I don't think Phil Jackson will coach past this next season.
And none of those teams can match up with the Lakers. The Lakers just dominate them in every catagory. The east has more good teams than the West does. The lakers have it easy for them.
I know that San Antonio can beat the Lakers... spurs just have their number... well idk about now since bruce bowen is gone but they still play pretty good D... None of the Lakers big men can guard Tim Duncan and if u let him kill u then ur not gonna beat San Antonio
Well times have changed. Tim Duncan may still be in his prime, but the Spurs aren't the dominant team they use to be, they aren't the team that swept my team, the Cavs, in the Finals in 2007, they are no longer that championship material team. Tim Duncan could give the Lakers all he can give, as long as he gets little help from his time, the Lakers will end up being the ones who come away with the win.
But I'm pretty much done with this. Niether of us will agree on which team is better, but I've proven my point, and my point is that you can't get the best record in the NBA and in franchise history with just one great player. It's impossible. Facts are facts. Cavs have more than one great player, so do Lakers, so do Magic, so do Nuggets, they all do. The final four teams are the best ones in the NBA, and have great players.
I looked at both of their stats while posting the comment before, and you are right, West is taller by three inchs. Nelson is currently at the six foot mark. I also looked at their stats, and apparantly, Nelson barley beats West in FG and 3p%, and then I looked at the game played and it pretty much proves that he only beats West in those because of the amount of games he missed this season. West is a better Free throw shooter, Nelson's got more assists, and West's just a better defender.
Alston isn't a better player than West, West's a much better shooter, he's much better defensively (remember that block West got on Alston in game 3?) you can just look at their season stats and it will clearly show that West pretty much beats Alston in all the catagories besides FGA (but West beats Alston in FGP so what does that tell you?) Alston did put on a better performance in this series than West did, but all in all, you can't really determine who's better by how they play, only by stats
ok and a healthy Jameer Nelson is far better than Delonte West. Jameer was better when they played together and head to head West can't guard him, alston has better handles and he's a better passer than west and what makes a good point guard, handles and passing
Oh please. Nelson is an average point guard at best and you know it. My friend who hates the Cavs even agrees that West is better than Alston and Nelson (Of course he ended up asking who the fuck nelson was after words lol) I do agree that West wouldn't be able to guard him. Why? Because Nelson's taller. Duh! West is not a good defender, yet last I checked he stuffed Alstons ass twice in this series. After watching Lakers win however, I will agree, Lakers were the better team this year.
see now I know ur crazy. Nelson is an all star, and as for him being taller, it's a joke. Nelson is barely 6 feet tall if that, I know because I'm 6'2 and from Orlando and I saw him at the mall one day and I'm a decent amount taller than him. When they were both at Saint Joseph's, Nelson was the man and west was a sidekick. I don't care if ur friend doesn't know who Jameer Nelson is, he's not an expert, average guards don't get voted to all star games Nelson aint average by a long shot.
Then I guess I was lied to by the states sheet Idk, but if what your saying by "average guards don't get voted to all star games" then I guess centers who aren't in the current top ten don't get voted into the all star game TWICE. Right? Because last I checked, Z has been in the all star game on two seperate occassions, so you sort of helped me prove my point. Thanks a lot.
And the Magic didn't have better overall players, all they had were taller players. Their point guards were taller, West was still better than both, Mo Williams definitely beats their Shooting Guards, Lebron beats everyone, Andy and Ben combined get their ass kicked by Howard lol and Z's definitely better than the Magic's center. Better overall players? I think not.
First off being a basketball player has nothing to do w/ knowledge of the game. Ur right I was a HS football player and I probably don't half as much about basketball as I do Fottball, but Stuart Scott didn't play sports, neither has Chris Berman, Scott Van Pelt, or many of the other analysts at ESPN but they get paid more than u do. Like I said both Alston and Nelson are better than Delonte West, Mo Williams is very overrated, Z isn't a top 10 center, and Lebron is just amazing but by himself
Actually being a player does help, because then you get a feel of how the game is, and you look at how much you shoot, the kind of way you do it and then you look at how people like Mo Williams shoots threes, and you think "wow, he's good" I once was 3/5 from the three point line, and I was lucky to even do that good in that game. Mo Williams usually averages that, he just had a bad series, and if you look at the way he performed this whole year, he's definitely not overrated.
Continuing my point about the Magic, Van Gundy knew our short guys would have a tough time defending against their three point shooting, and game's 1 and 4 proves it. We couldn't stop their shooting because it was hard to post up against them. Lakers don't have that problem because their guys are tall enough to stand up against them. When it comes right down to it, Cavs function better as a time, but Magic knew our weaknesses and took advantage of it. The Cavs didn't. Simple as that.
well it's not my fault that we have overall better players than u did. As far as Big Z goes, ur still wrong, he's done little to nothing noteworthy in his career. Shooting is only part of the game. Being a great shooter doesn't make a great player it makes u a great shooter. Like I said if Kobe is so much better than shaq then how come Shaq has been to the finals with almost every team he's played on except Phoenix cuz he just got there. He won before Kobe, w/ Kobe and after Kobe...
Once again, you aren't a basketball player now are you? No, until you are, nothing you say matters. Shaq has only been with four teams in his career. The Magic, The Lakers, The Heat, and the Suns. Z was on a team that was never really good. The cavs were nothing, Z had to carry them on his own, and got them in the playoffs one year. His career was almost over with foot problems, he wasn't able to do much, right now, it's hard for him to work around with injuries. Shaq's clean, different story.
Once again, as a basketball player I know what I'm talking about here, you obviously don't. You have to actually be a part of the experiance to know a little something about basketball and what makes someone a good player. To say the Cavs aren't a good team means you have no clue what you're talking about or your simply biased. It's that simple. If Lebron were on the Knicks, would they get the best record? No. Why? Because they aren't a good team. Simple as that.
You say the Cavs are garbage without Lebron? May I remind you that in the last game of the regular season, Lebron, Mo and Z sat out the whole game and only two of the Cavs starters played? The rest were players from the bench. What happens? The cavs manage to take the game into overtime. They end up losing, BY ONE POINT, without three of their best players! Thats without Lebron and two of their other best players. They're a great team with or without Lebron. Period.
no your post is complete bullshit sir. 1st of all Mo Williams wasn't even voted to the All Star game he was chosen as a replacement, for who, oh yea an injured Jameer Nelson a REAL all star. 2nd of all, Big Z is consistent but by no means is a top 10 center in the NBA. If he's #2 (to dwight howard I presume) that means he's better than Shaq, Yao, Chris Bosh, Marcus Camby, and Al Jefferson among others. West is ok but isnt that good either. Orlando has 2 point guards better than him...
Z is definitely better than Shaq. How is Shaq good? He's not a good shooter, he's an awful free point shooter, Z on the other hand is much more useful. The number 1 Center in the NBA right now is without a doubt Yao Ming. Why? because once again he's a good shooter unlike Shaq and Chris Bosh and Al Jefferson. And just for the record, Dwight's mainly a power forward, he plays Center but his main position is PF, there for he doesn't belong in that catagory.
yet Shaq is a 3 time NBA MVP, a 3 time Finals MVP, He's been to the Finals 6 times and he's won 4, Big Z isn't in the same breath as Shaq, shooting doesn't make a good big man, that's why we have guards. Bill Russel couldn't shoot but I doubt that anyone would say that Big Z is better than him. Good centers get easy buckets and are post players, that's the role. No one cares if they can shoot, Raef Lefrantz could shoot his ass off and wasn't worth a damn to the Mavericks
And who was he with at those times? Three of those finals he was with...oh Idk...Kobe Bryant? And then that last one...hmm...oh yea Dwayne Wade! Once again, you don't understand the concept of basketball, if you can't shoot, you aren't a good player. You can be the tallest guy in the fucking world, but as long as you can't make a twelve footer to save your life, you suck. Raef wasn't much use because shooting was all he could do. Big Z can do more than just shoot.
ok So u would take Big Z over guys like Bill Russell, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Wilt Chamberlain, etc. Most of the greatest Centers in NBA history couldn't shoot. What YOU don't understand is what makes a good big man. Z can't post against other big men, he can't defend any decent big men, all he has is that weak 12 footer...
None of those guys are playing right now are they? No, there for they are out of discussion. Yes, Shaq may be a better CENTER, but a better basketball player? No, Big Z wins that one, why? Because how good of a shooter you are is the main purpose, and in that regard Shaq fails miserably, he may be stronger, but he's not faster, and he's definitely not the better shooter. There for, Z is the better BASKETBALL player. It's simple as that.
and for that matter Shaq didn't have Kobe... Kobe had Shaq. U fail to realize that Shaq went to the finals before Kobe was his teammate. and FYI a good big man always makes his teammates better. If we looked at it your way we'd be saying stupid shit like "Tim Duncan had Tony Parker" or "Hakeem Olajuwon only won cuz of Clyde Drexler". Seriously think about what ur saying here. It's a reason that O'neal has 3 finals MVP's...
What your saying makes no sense. First off, Kobes a better player than Shaq. We all know that. Is Tony Parker a better player than Tim Duncan? No. Lebron's a better player than Big Z, yes, but you need to look at reality. The only reason the Magic won is because they have taller players. It's that simple. Guys like West, Williams and Gibson can't play defense against tall players like Lewis and that guy with the screwed up face. Because of this, it was easy for the Magic to knock down open shots
yes the cavs are shitty w/o Lebron. U just said it yourself. He didn't play and they lost. He's the reason they weren't swept by Orlando in the first place. U say good teams don't rely on one player, yet in the 1st 4 games of the eastern conference finals, Lebron scored over 43 percent of the cavaliers points by himself. The only game where the Cavs out played the Magic was game 5. Varejao is a flopper not a defender. Cleveland was easily the worst of the final NBA 4 this year....
How did I say they were shitty? They didn't just play without Lebron, they played without Mo Williams, and Z, and your completely denying the fact that they only lost by one IN OVERTIME. Orlando should never have won in the first place. We had big leads over them and if we had won game 1 if it wasn't for the lucky shot by Lewis, we would've won the series. Simple as that. Even Howard admitted that they were lucky in terms of the way game 1 played out. Cavs were definitely the best out of all 4.
You also don't clearly understand what a good team is. If your a good team, you're able to win games by working together and not relying on one or two people to win games for you. In that regard the Cavs do that better than any other team in the NBA. If you get the best record in the NBA and in Franchise history, it's clearly obvious that you are one of the best teams in the NBA atm.
yea well here. lebron and the cavs can suck it. the final two are gonna be magic and nuggets. cuz lets just face it LA needs to stop winning and the cavs are just dumb. no one cares about LA and Cleveland.
So to you whiney mike fans, stop your crying. Mike is done, he's been done, Lebron is here and now and will be here for a long time. So go grab a tissue you'll need it because you'll see more of Lebron, and keep crying.
Lol you guys fail for real. "Oh if Mike would've gone to the NBA from highschool he would've got it earlier" Dude shutup. The fact is he didn't you dont know if he would've or not. So stfu. You guys cry so much just because you're witnessing the newest "Mike" of the NBA right now. Kobe is selfish which is why his averages are so high. Lebron gives the ball around. And it ain't luck on that you crybabies. That's skill. It swooshed, didn't hit backboard, didn't hit the rim then bounce around..
The cavs suck... Lebron is the only good player on the team. The Magic OWN this team and will win this series. Nuff said, oh wait... GOOOO MAGIC!!!! now it's nuff said...
So if the Cavs suck then how did they have the best record in the NBA? That fact right there shows they are a better team than any other team in the NBA.
In professional sports, regular season records don't mean much if u don't win a championship. Nobody would have remembered the 95-96 Bulls and their 72-10 record if they hadn't won the NBA championship that year, just like no one gives 2 craps about the 2007 Patriots... The playoffs are where it matters and if u don't win where it matters, then ur regular season record is all for naught... just like the Cavs...
Okay so what about the 1969 Orioles? They ended up getting the best record ever in MBL history in the regular season, and what happens in the World Series? They lost the series 4-1, yet people still remember them for their amazing season.
I know most people won't remember the Cav's getting the most wins ever in a season in their franchise history, but bottom line is, who ever has the best record, is the best team. If you don't, then you aren't the best. Period.
first off I don't remember the 69 orioles... The regular season doesn't mean anything once the playoffs start other than homefield/court. Remember the 04 Steelers? Nope but I bet u remember the 05 Steelers. The best team wins the championship period. The Cavs were not the best team in the league this year. The Magic were obviously better, the Lakers, Celtics( w/ garnett), and Nuggets were all better teams. Other than Lebron, that whole team is average at best...
So your saying the 2008 Giants were the better team than the Pats? No they weren't, I wanted them to win, but the best team does not always win and facts show this. Please do yourself a favor and tell me how the Celtics are a better team than the Cavs? Without KG or Paul Peirce, they're nothing. If you were to say they were going to win the NBA finals four years ago, you would be laughed at. Now suddenly, they get KG and just like that they're a great team? No, they aren't.
So tell me how the hell the Cavs are a great team. They have one good player, that's it. Look at the final 4 teams of the 2009 NBA playoffs. If u take away Dwight Howard, the Magic could still win, if u took away Kobe the Lakers could still win, if u take away Carmello the Nuggets could still win, u take away Lebron Cleveland is GARBAGE. They're not a team, they are a one man show called Lebron James. Boston lost KG and still won 60+ games, so calling them nothing w/o KG is a moot point.
Your post is complete bullshit, and it proves you don't know a single thing about the Cavs. First off, your saying Mo Williams isn't a good player? Then how did he get into the All Star game? How did Big Z get into the All Star games twice? Big Z is easily the second best Center in the NBA, because unlike most Centers, Z can actually SHOOT a basket and make it. West is easily one of the best point guards in the NBA. Andy is a good defender and rebounder, and he's getting better at shooting.
how are you guys even comparing a lucky shot to anything mj ever did if any1 watched the game yesterday you'll see that he 1 for 8 from the 3 pt line so i think i'd call the shot he made in game 2 pretty lucky kobe is more clutch and n'either kobe or lebron will ever come close to michael cause michael played college and stil won the mvp at 25 and lebron didn't play college so if michael had went straight from highschool he could of gotten mvp earlier
So wake up and smell lebrons sweat punks, he's the greatest now, and will be the greatest until he's done, and we look at someone new into the NBA. LJ won the award at 24, Mike at 25. THERE he beat mike at something already, what else is there?
Nothing but MJ bandwagons. You know what? You're so skeptical about Lebron and how great he is or what he's done. You know what? Just go to 3:03 of this video, then watch what the commentary guy says "We're all witnesses to greatness" And he means LEBRON
You guys total take the whole "he's the next michael jordan" out of proportion. You act like we're saying he's going ot have his own shoe or something. What you fucks need to open up and see is what we mean. LEBRON is so damn good at what he does, so accomplished and talented, that he will in fact be what michael was in his days, now and until he retires as a basketball hero and star.
Completely agree with Dynamite77..Plus Lb s more involved on team game(how many triple double till now at 24 years old?!?!),kobe just thinks about himself (thats why 81 points). And like jordan did, just players who can work with team can be leaders and win.Btw i also think mj is the best ever, but Lebron is the best now
lebron is one of the best, but When I was in middle school, I got to see the bulls and michael jordan get three rings straight and were a dynasty.Lebron is today's jordan for this generation.... but m.j. started this shit
common man. u can't even compare the two because they play different positions dude. plus lebron at 24 is better than jordan at 24 stat wise. plus i think everyone forgot how long it took jordan to get his first ring
Yeah your right Kobe did score 81 points. And I too think Kobe is better but when I saw that game on friday I saw that Lebron has potential score those numbers one day.
ya, lebron could score that much, but did u see how much his tammates scored?he was tied for most assists, more than anyone on the other team...exactly
2:33 About time Lebron gets called for a travel lol.

And none of those teams can match up with the Lakers. The Lakers just dominate them in every catagory. The east has more good teams than the West does. The lakers have it easy for them.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
I know that San Antonio can beat the Lakers... spurs just have their number... well idk about now since bruce bowen is gone but they still play pretty good D... None of the Lakers big men can guard Tim Duncan and if u let him kill u then ur not gonna beat San Antonio
marcrib79 2 years ago
I'm surprised you said San Antonio but not the Trail Blazers, a team that seems to beat the Lakers almost every time they face each other.
Lakers Record against Blazers: 1-4
Numbers don't lie my friend.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
well that's another team L.A will need to deal with IF they make the playoffs. But Tim Duncan owns the Lakers...
marcrib79 2 years ago
Well times have changed. Tim Duncan may still be in his prime, but the Spurs aren't the dominant team they use to be, they aren't the team that swept my team, the Cavs, in the Finals in 2007, they are no longer that championship material team. Tim Duncan could give the Lakers all he can give, as long as he gets little help from his time, the Lakers will end up being the ones who come away with the win.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
But I'm pretty much done with this. Niether of us will agree on which team is better, but I've proven my point, and my point is that you can't get the best record in the NBA and in franchise history with just one great player. It's impossible. Facts are facts. Cavs have more than one great player, so do Lakers, so do Magic, so do Nuggets, they all do. The final four teams are the best ones in the NBA, and have great players.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
I looked at both of their stats while posting the comment before, and you are right, West is taller by three inchs. Nelson is currently at the six foot mark. I also looked at their stats, and apparantly, Nelson barley beats West in FG and 3p%, and then I looked at the game played and it pretty much proves that he only beats West in those because of the amount of games he missed this season. West is a better Free throw shooter, Nelson's got more assists, and West's just a better defender.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
Alston isn't a better player than West, West's a much better shooter, he's much better defensively (remember that block West got on Alston in game 3?) you can just look at their season stats and it will clearly show that West pretty much beats Alston in all the catagories besides FGA (but West beats Alston in FGP so what does that tell you?) Alston did put on a better performance in this series than West did, but all in all, you can't really determine who's better by how they play, only by stats
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
ok and a healthy Jameer Nelson is far better than Delonte West. Jameer was better when they played together and head to head West can't guard him, alston has better handles and he's a better passer than west and what makes a good point guard, handles and passing
marcrib79 2 years ago
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
see now I know ur crazy. I don't care if ur friend doesn't know who Jameer Nelson is, he's not an expert, average guards don't get voted to all star games Nelson aint average by a long shot.
marcrib79 2 years ago
Then I guess I was lied to by the states sheet Idk, but if what your saying by "average guards don't get voted to all star games" then I guess centers who aren't in the current top ten don't get voted into the all star game TWICE. Right? Because last I checked, Z has been in the all star game on two seperate occassions, so you sort of helped me prove my point. Thanks a lot.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
And the Magic didn't have better overall players, all they had were taller players. Their point guards were taller, West was still better than both, Mo Williams definitely beats their Shooting Guards, Lebron beats everyone, Andy and Ben combined get their ass kicked by Howard lol and Z's definitely better than the Magic's center. Better overall players? I think not.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
First off being a basketball player has nothing to do w/ knowledge of the game. Ur right I was a HS football player and I probably don't half as much about basketball as I do Fottball, but Stuart Scott didn't play sports, neither has Chris Berman, Scott Van Pelt, or many of the other analysts at ESPN but they get paid more than u do. Like I said both Alston and Nelson are better than Delonte West, Mo Williams is very overrated, Z isn't a top 10 center, and Lebron is just amazing but by himself
marcrib79 2 years ago
Actually being a player does help, because then you get a feel of how the game is, and you look at how much you shoot, the kind of way you do it and then you look at how people like Mo Williams shoots threes, and you think "wow, he's good" I once was 3/5 from the three point line, and I was lucky to even do that good in that game. Mo Williams usually averages that, he just had a bad series, and if you look at the way he performed this whole year, he's definitely not overrated.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
Continuing my point about the Magic, Van Gundy knew our short guys would have a tough time defending against their three point shooting, and game's 1 and 4 proves it. We couldn't stop their shooting because it was hard to post up against them. Lakers don't have that problem because their guys are tall enough to stand up against them. When it comes right down to it, Cavs function better as a time, but Magic knew our weaknesses and took advantage of it. The Cavs didn't. Simple as that.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
well it's not my fault that we have overall better players than u did. He won before Kobe, w/ Kobe and after Kobe...
marcrib79 2 years ago
Once again, you aren't a basketball player now are you? No, until you are, nothing you say matters. Shaq has only been with four teams in his career. The Magic, The Lakers, The Heat, and the Suns. Z was on a team that was never really good. The cavs were nothing, Z had to carry them on his own, and got them in the playoffs one year. His career was almost over with foot problems, he wasn't able to do much, right now, it's hard for him to work around with injuries. Shaq's clean, different story.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
Once again, as a basketball player I know what I'm talking about here, you obviously don't. You have to actually be a part of the experiance to know a little something about basketball and what makes someone a good player. To say the Cavs aren't a good team means you have no clue what you're talking about or your simply biased. It's that simple. If Lebron were on the Knicks, would they get the best record? No. Why? Because they aren't a good team. Simple as that.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
You say the Cavs are garbage without Lebron? May I remind you that in the last game of the regular season, Lebron, Mo and Z sat out the whole game and only two of the Cavs starters played? The rest were players from the bench. What happens? The cavs manage to take the game into overtime. They end up losing, BY ONE POINT, without three of their best players! Thats without Lebron and two of their other best players. They're a great team with or without Lebron. Period.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
no your post is complete bullshit sir. Orlando has 2 point guards better than him...
marcrib79 2 years ago
Z is definitely better than Shaq. How is Shaq good? He's not a good shooter, he's an awful free point shooter, Z on the other hand is much more useful. The number 1 Center in the NBA right now is without a doubt Yao Ming. Why? because once again he's a good shooter unlike Shaq and Chris Bosh and Al Jefferson. And just for the record, Dwight's mainly a power forward, he plays Center but his main position is PF, there for he doesn't belong in that catagory.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
yet Shaq is a 3 time NBA MVP, a 3 time Finals MVP, He's been to the Finals 6 times and he's won 4, Big Z isn't in the same breath as Shaq, shooting doesn't make a good big man, that's why we have guards. Bill Russel couldn't shoot but I doubt that anyone would say that Big Z is better than him. Good centers get easy buckets and are post players, that's the role. No one cares if they can shoot, Raef Lefrantz could shoot his ass off and wasn't worth a damn to the Mavericks
marcrib79 2 years ago
And who was he with at those times? Three of those finals he was with...oh Idk...Kobe Bryant? And then that last one...hmm...oh yea Dwayne Wade! Once again, you don't understand the concept of basketball, if you can't shoot, you aren't a good player. You can be the tallest guy in the fucking world, but as long as you can't make a twelve footer to save your life, you suck. Raef wasn't much use because shooting was all he could do. Big Z can do more than just shoot.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
ok So u would take Big Z over guys like Bill Russell, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Wilt Chamberlain, etc. Most of the greatest Centers in NBA history couldn't shoot. What YOU don't understand is what makes a good big man. Z can't post against other big men, he can't defend any decent big men, all he has is that weak 12 footer...
marcrib79 2 years ago
None of those guys are playing right now are they? No, there for they are out of discussion. Yes, Shaq may be a better CENTER, but a better basketball player? No, Big Z wins that one, why? Because how good of a shooter you are is the main purpose, and in that regard Shaq fails miserably, he may be stronger, but he's not faster, and he's definitely not the better shooter. There for, Z is the better BASKETBALL player. It's simple as that.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
and for that matter Shaq didn't have Kobe... It's a reason that O'neal has 3 finals MVP's...
marcrib79 2 years ago
What your saying makes no sense. First off, Kobes a better player than Shaq. We all know that. Is Tony Parker a better player than Tim Duncan? No. Lebron's a better player than Big Z, yes, but you need to look at reality. The only reason the Magic won is because they have taller players. It's that simple. Guys like West, Williams and Gibson can't play defense against tall players like Lewis and that guy with the screwed up face. Because of this, it was easy for the Magic to knock down open shots

marcrib79 2 years ago
yes the cavs are shitty w/o Lebron. Cleveland was easily the worst of the final NBA 4 this year....
marcrib79 2 years ago
How did I say they were shitty? They didn't just play without Lebron, they played without Mo Williams, and Z, and your completely denying the fact that they only lost by one IN OVERTIME. Orlando should never have won in the first place. We had big leads over them and if we had won game 1 if it wasn't for the lucky shot by Lewis, we would've won the series. Simple as that. Even Howard admitted that they were lucky in terms of the way game 1 played out. Cavs were definitely the best out of all 4.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
You also don't clearly understand what a good team is. If your a good team, you're able to win games by working together and not relying on one or two people to win games for you. In that regard the Cavs do that better than any other team in the NBA. If you get the best record in the NBA and in Franchise history, it's clearly obvious that you are one of the best teams in the NBA atm.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
yea well here. lebron and the cavs can suck it. the final two are gonna be magic and nuggets. cuz lets just face it LA needs to stop winning and the cavs are just dumb. no one cares about LA and Cleveland.
ladyelk703 2 years ago
nuggets vs. magic in the final would we fun :-D
NallePu83 2 years ago
And if the cavs suck, why're they in the playoffs? Ok. NUFF said. Regardless if the Magic is better, they're there. So cry.
xBurdman17x 2 years ago
So to you whiney mike fans, stop your crying. Mike is done, he's been done, Lebron is here and now and will be here for a long time. So go grab a tissue you'll need it because you'll see more of Lebron, and keep crying.
xBurdman17x 2 years ago
Lol you guys fail for real. "Oh if Mike would've gone to the NBA from highschool he would've got it earlier" Dude shutup. The fact is he didn't you dont know if he would've or not. So stfu. You guys cry so much just because you're witnessing the newest "Mike" of the NBA right now. Kobe is selfish which is why his averages are so high. Lebron gives the ball around. And it ain't luck on that you crybabies. That's skill. It swooshed, didn't hit backboard, didn't hit the rim then bounce around..
xBurdman17x 2 years ago
The cavs suck... Lebron is the only good player on the team. The Magic OWN this team and will win this series. Nuff said, oh wait... GOOOO MAGIC!!!! now it's nuff said...
marcrib79 2 years ago
i agree completely with u lebron is the only good player on their team and magic have so many good three point shooters that its freakin ridiculous
LB23cav 2 years ago
So if the Cavs suck then how did they have the best record in the NBA? That fact right there shows they are a better team than any other team in the NBA.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
In professional sports, regular season records don't mean much if u don't win a championship. Nobody would have remembered the 95-96 Bulls and their 72-10 record if they hadn't won the NBA championship that year, just like no one gives 2 craps about the 2007 Patriots... The playoffs are where it matters and if u don't win where it matters, then ur regular season record is all for naught... just like the Cavs...
marcrib79 2 years ago
Okay so what about the 1969 Orioles? They ended up getting the best record ever in MBL history in the regular season, and what happens in the World Series? They lost the series 4-1, yet people still remember them for their amazing season.
I know most people won't remember the Cav's getting the most wins ever in a season in their franchise history, but bottom line is, who ever has the best record, is the best team. If you don't, then you aren't the best. Period.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
first off I don't remember the 69 orioles... Other than Lebron, that whole team is average at best...
marcrib79 2 years ago
So your saying the 2008 Giants were the better team than the Pats? No they weren't, I wanted them to win, but the best team does not always win and facts show this. Please do yourself a favor and tell me how the Celtics are a better team than the Cavs? Without KG or Paul Peirce, they're nothing. If you were to say they were going to win the NBA finals four years ago, you would be laughed at. Now suddenly, they get KG and just like that they're a great team? No, they aren't.
WWEpwnsTNA 2 years ago
So tell me how the hell the Cavs are a great team. They have one good player, that's it. Look at the final 4 teams of the 2009 NBA playoffs. If u take away Dwight Howard, the Magic could still win, if u took away Kobe the Lakers could still win, if u take away Carmello the Nuggets could still win, u take away Lebron Cleveland is GARBAGE. They're not a team, they are a one man show called Lebron James. Boston lost KG and still won 60+ games, so calling them nothing w/o KG is a moot point.
marcrib79 2 years ago
Your post is complete bullshit, and it proves you don't know a single thing about the Cavs. First off, your saying Mo Williams isn't a good player? Then how did he get into the All Star game? How did Big Z get into the All Star games twice? Big Z is easily the second best Center in the NBA, because unlike most Centers, Z can actually SHOOT a basket and make it. West is easily one of the best point guards in the NBA. Andy is a good defender and rebounder, and he's getting better at shooting.
