I been finding with transformers with the primary on one leg and the secondary on the second leg that the due to the long magnetic flux path, the coupling between the windings is poor. The solution is to layer the primary and secondaries over the top of each on the same leg. The other problem is when the secondary is heavily loaded stray leakage flux causes large eddy currents to flow in the steel mounting clamps holding the core together, causing the mounting assembly to get very very hot!
hi ! could you please try an electrolisys test for me? you need just to attach a stainless plate (inox) to each end of the cables when they are to 1-2cm distant inside normal water .becarefull to the eventual hydrogen production.please let me know.
