Oscar Grant, Oakland Ca - killed on New Years Day after being shot in the back while pinned down (and possibly handcuffed) by another cop. Grant was unarmed.

Adolf Grimes, New Orleans La - killed on New Years eve after being shot 12 times in the back (14 total). Grimes was armed with a legal, registered gun.

Robbie Tolan, Dallas Tx - shot 3 times on New Years Eve after cops wrongfully accused him of stealing his own vehicle in front of his parents home on Dec 31. Tolan was unarmed.

The actions of the police is called literally, over-kill. Once the alleged offender is subdued (matter of interpretation), aggressive actions should cease at once; rather than the police continue its aggressiveness by tazering, beating and pummelling an already subdued individual, or shooting an unarmed person. If there is an armed person that needs to be disarmed, one doesn't need a firing squad to do that. What happened to warning shots: in the air; leg; and last resort torso?
