The Escalade is Beautiful and drives nice BUT still has old solid axle rear suspension and third seat that doesn't fold into the floor but has to be stored in your basement,the same as trucks from 20 years ago! The Escalade does NOT have a Low Range Transfer Case for off roading or pulling heavy boats out of the water so its not really a truck either.Its a beautiful huge station wagon or mini van ! Of course all those status seekers will like the looks they get at the mall.

My mother just bought a 2010 Black Escalde Premium ESV two days ago and it's the best car she's ever had, I love all the features especially the bluetooth and MP3 features, unlike most other "luxury" SUVs this one has tons of features and doesn't have a hefty pricetag just because it looks expensive.
This is my FAVORITE vehicle on Earth that costs under 100k besides the Mercedes S-Class. Especially when it's sitting on chromed out 22 inch wheels. This is my dream car. I'm 19 and when I make enough money, I'm gonna buy one of these

Escalades are total junk, their poor quality and horrible reliability suits the cadillac brand perfectly. My neighbor had one and he had his transmission replaced twice, fuel pump went out while on a family trip (ruined their trip because it took 3 days to get the part) also his wipers stopped working during a major rainstorm. Is it any wonder GM is going bankrupt? This thing is heavy, bad brakes, needs over 400hp to match the acceleration of a 190hp civic si.

I agree both of my parents both own escalades less than 2 years old and my mom's chrome strip on the side has fallen off twice now and both of the cars tire pressure monitoring systems are broken and think that the wheels are always flat. The only plus is that they are actually really fast (faster than a civic si) they go 0-60 in the same time as my 2008 Mercedes C350.

My uncle has an Escalade like this one. I knew it was a thuggin automobile but I got to drive it today and it also has a really good turning radius for such a hugeass SUV. I was really impressed.
6.2 liters.... should give about at least 600Nm and 620bhp... sucky bastard. Consumes as much as four european 200bhp sedans... Even the Audi Q7 gets over 25mpg!
Well, I prefer new german diesel motors. Giving basically more performance than similiar sized petrol engine. Don't get me wrong I like the Escalade, but in one reason only; the manliness feel of driving it. The biggest downside of american car is the quality of the interior and the finish of the car. How about a smaller engine with supercharger for the escalade, same amount of power yet faster. I'd hate to buy a luxury American V8 with all the toys but with the feel of KIA or Chevrolet (Daewoo)
Well I prefer audis. The Q7 4.2TDI V8 is phenomenal... Havent dirven the V12 TDI, but numbers tell it all 500hp / 1000Nm. Germans do all the sectors great; engines, interior, exterior, ride, quality & image... It tell you something that chrysler has to use old MB engineering in their new cars...

I'm from Czech republic.. and every day I meet approx..30 bmw x5,x6 = btw i don't like them, audi Q7 and Q5, Mercedes Benz GL or G and GLK too.. and couple Range Rovers..but only 1-2 Escalades in a half year... so now I'm student on college but when I have money to buy it ESCALDE ESV IS THE exactly thing which i spend my money for it! I love this car it's awesome!!!

Escalades are total junk, their poor quality and horrible reliability suits the cadillac brand perfectly. My neighbor had one and he had his transmission replaced twice, fuel pump went out while on a family trip (ruined their trip because it took 3 days to get the part) also his wipers stopped working during a major rainstorm. Is it any wonder GM is going bankrupt? This thing is heavy, bad brakes, needs over 400hp to match the acceleration of a 190hp civic si.

I agree both of my parents both own escalades less than 2 years old and my mom's chrome strip on the side has fallen off twice now and both of the cars tire pressure monitoring systems are broken and think that the wheels are always flat. The only plus is that they are actually really fast (faster than a civic si) they go 0-60 in the same time as my 2008 Mercedes C350.

Well, I prefer new german diesel motors. Giving basically more performance than similiar sized petrol engine. Don't get me wrong I like the Escalade, but in one reason only; the manliness feel of driving it. The biggest downside of american car is the quality of the interior and the finish of the car. How about a smaller engine with supercharger for the escalade, same amount of power yet faster. I'd hate to buy a luxury American V8 with all the toys but with the feel of KIA or Chevrolet (Daewoo)

Well I prefer audis. The Q7 4.2TDI V8 is phenomenal... Havent dirven the V12 TDI, but numbers tell it all 500hp / 1000Nm. Germans do all the sectors great; engines, interior, exterior, ride, quality & image... It tell you something that chrysler has to use old MB engineering in their new cars...
