Guys, for the white on black thing you don't need to go to the settings. You just need to press the home button three times really fast. I'm not sure it works for the iPod touch 4th generation but I did it on my friend's 3rd generation and it worked. Just try it out guys!

Well one way to do this is to double tap the home button. Then slide right ... Then press the rotation lock ... It stops the coverflow coming up. But you can't turn the iPod sideways.
