  • He doesn't know anything. That's NOT a 5 gallon bucket; the one he's using is too small and the plants roots will outgrow it quickly and rot. That's NOT gravel, its hydroton/LECA/expanded clay pellets. There should be about an inch air gap between the bottom of the mesh pot and the top of the water. What an old fool

  • @mikesogden hes only growing lettuce you idiot

  • @rominmufc1 that's a tomato and a gourd-looking plant you dumb shit. Doesn't matter what he's growing, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Yeah it might work, but there are DEFINITELY better ways to do it.

  • wouldnt the plants drown or get crushed by the beads

  • wouldnt the plants drown

  • @armandoarevalo1 thats y u have the airstone

  • nice video helped alot.......thanx

  • Spend way less with The Bucket Garden and with even better results for organic vegetables. He is taking the best of hydroponics gardening, organic gardening and has wrapped it up in a high bred container garden. Ted Hallett, The Garden Master

  • where can i buy these pots? do they already come like this or are they custom?

  • you can also use more smaller net pots for different sized plants. you can even use smaller buckets for smaller plants like the 5 litre buckets which take up less room than larger buckets.

  • what type of gravel do you use mate?

  • @TelfordSniperKid

    Hydroton / clay pellets

  • 0:32 lol wife

  • bucket...

  • where do u buyy these??

  • i swear dt aint weed dt plant luk like a tomatoe plant, how did it grow dt big in.2WEEKS??!?!? fake

  • @jcallday55 youre a fucking dumb fuck arent you? dont fucking comment if u dont beleive it its real, what the fuck would be the fucking point of faking that u stupid mother fukker

  • @jcallday55 the 2 week old is a bean stalk

  • I don't recommend adding water to the point of net pot submersion. If you leave the water about an inch below the net pot the bubbles from the air stone will splash water on the grow medium.

  • so all one needs is an airstone which is hooked to an airpomp...thats it?

  • Try ~>Growzay's Hydroponic Wave system<~

    growzay1966@yahoo.com

  • I though it was showing bubbleponics for growing pot

  • THANKS MATE FOR THE INFO

  • finally some shit that actually helped me

  • I Have a question. Since the rock wool cube doesn't hit the water when you put the cube in the bucket, how does the little root ever hit the water reservoir? Do you have to keep the rock wool cube wet, or does the vapors from the water reservoir keep it wet ?

  • HELL YEAH THANKS IM GOING TO USE YOUR IDEA IT WAS REALLY HELPFULL............HA HA HA HA CANABIS HA HA CANABIS HA HA HA HA HA HAAA...

  • @hugotx1 a least fucking spell it right

  • Excellent system.

  • nice vid ! thanx

  • awesome video.

  • Thanks for posting this great video! Truly, learning is always fun especially if you can find the best resources all the time. I just have a quick question, I would like to know if there are other growing mediums that you could suggest that would be as effective as rockwool?

  • hey buddy where you get theses from ??? thanks

  • were did u get the buckets

  • how does water get up to seedlings?

  • whats the gravel called??

  • @reptiguy5000 It's expanded clay.

  • Hi Bonejohnson! other than water what else will i put in my solution? hoping for your response. thank you in advance :)

  • nice video dude. you should try using a 20L for growing cannabis haha, great results

  • so i guess the water wicks up to the rockwool until the roots reach the water ?

  • where I can get those hydroponic pots or can I do it simple way by myself if I have air compressor?

  • where can you buy this stuff i have sucha problem in my condominium ... people cant see my plants so i need to buy lights and evrything ... shit such a problem i just ask for 1 plant so i could babysit her (:

  • this is weed rite ??

  • aaaaahhhh ok....its unfortunate that you,ve titled this 'grow pot'........more like grow lettuce

  • Gravel lol....lol.

  • the only reason i dont do hydro is u got to buy liquid feed

  • could u use lava rock?

  • @darkpownage you can use anything

  • i love youtube! you learn so much!

  • @TheHabit00 jajajajajajajajajajajaja i love your comment !

  • @TheHabit00 lmao agreed.

  • hi bro, nice equipment.. How often do you change the water?

  • how do you suport your plants when it is plantet in those rocks?

  • your stomach is blocking the shot!

  • @djembe187 ikr!

  • What about humidity/mold in the house? What about insects in the house? Are these an issue when running an aeroponic system indoors?

  • Is someone having fun with this or what? Good demo and explaination, thank you!

  • MARIJUANA KILLS! Lol jk

  • Nice vid but with the jiffy pellets if u put them in hot water they get bigger faster!

  • this guys from the west midlands

  • Hi, very good video, easiest to understand of the ones i have seen on youtube. Just wondering what the extra connector bit on the second plant is? the one who's roots you showed to the camera

  • Anyone know a good video for learning how to use hydroponic systems?

  • @AnathemusVideos youtube . mr. green

  • @AnathemusVideos

yeah I asked this dude named Google.

  • how strong are your airpumps?

  • Is that the wife cleaning up the clay balls? mines is the same haha and 20l pot is big enough

  • how much do them bubble buckets cost mate

  • i bought the 20 ltr buckets. I am gonna do aeroponic as it will use less water and nutrients. Its harder to setup but will save water when you think about 8x20ltr buckets.

  • How big should my pot be for weed?

  • ajaj this niqqa...

  • I use 2.5 gallon buckets, 5 gal is fine. Flora nova grow for nutes (or any good all in one) sun blaster T5 bulbs, Cheap and very effective. Dont over complicate, its a waste of time and money.

  • You do not need water pumps, the roots will not drown they will thrive because of the bubblers. Most hydro stores have baskets to fit buckets. Forget all the rocket science crap and try this, you will not be sorry. Ive been doing this a long time and the results are fantastic, no meters, no Co2, no bullshit.

  • right on mate

  • i have found in aeroponic systems you are better removing the plants form the grow sponges as they end up becoming water logged when the plants gets bigger. I find it better just to lets it grow in pebbles. interestingly i have also found that the roots which stay submerged remain whiter than the roots which hangs in air and just get sprayed. NOt sure if it matters if roots remian white though

  • Those are some WONDERFUL pots!

  • how long do u leave the pump on 24/7 or..?

  • @sparklerbombg never turn it off

  • Can someone give me some advice on the materials/preparation needed for constructing a bubbleponic aeroponic grow system?

  • dude, where did u buy this pot thing?

  • so will the rockwool jus disinigrate? also is there i time on how long the pumps are on?

  • After a long period of time.. the rokwool will eventually break down being nuthing but ash when you squeeze it.. I recently visited a grow house and I learned some things I never would have thought obvious

  • Hey. I just wanted to say great video thanks for posting. Quick question, I hope I don't bother you. When you place the plug (rockwool, whatever...) is it a problem if the bottom of it touches the water? Should I place a large enough layer of stone so that the plug does not directly touch the water?

  • make sure whenever you do hydroponics, that whatever method you do,always have ph up and down, plus a digi ph meter.

  • did you make those or did you buy them? if you buy them, where can I get one of those?

  • Comment removed

  • Home Depot only has 5 gallon orange buckets without lids. In fact, HD blows. Lowes has silver buckets for 3 bucks each, don't know about lids.

  • lol @ cleaning up at 28sec

  • Where would I get a hydroponics bubbler bucket?

  • home depot

  • Check out Flairform for the finest Growers Guide on the market. Its 100% free online and can be found in USA at most hobby grow shops. While at the site, read our profile and the Growers Guide. Our name is our website. Flairform Nute line rocks!

  • well i would put less nutes then it says to on the bottle and change every week because the exact amount would over feed the plants and your end results would be bad if they make it bubblers are new to me i could be wrong but it shouldint be no diffrent from any other hydroponics

  • i have my seedlings in dirt at this moment id like to transplant them into my bubbler sys but im wondering if i can do this from dirt to bubbleponics without useing rockwool will it kill my plants they are allready rooted

  • nay...rinse off roots and drop them in...

  • works like a charm:)

  • this guy say (water) like a pure motherfucka :)

  • i'm trying to use the same setup. are you using a water pump aswell? do you also have your buckets tied together?

  • all im useing is an airrateing stone to keep fresh oxygen in the water fresh water with lots of oxygen and good nutes produce great fast growing plants

  • i dont like using rock wool jiffy pellets they rot and stay too wet

i would also use clay at the bottom of the pot where its wet and then fill up with soil they grow much better if they have some soil to start in :)

  • I'm not sure you're suppose to have dirt (jiffy pot) in a hydroponic system.

  • how do you make sure you have and keep the right amount of nutrience in your solution? is a grow solution with all micronutrience enough to keep plants happy or do you have to buy a bunch of other stuff to mix in the water to?
