It's so weird that no one asks Noah how he's doing (except maybe Dusty). He just found out like a week ago that his father is a homophobic murdering liar and has lied to him his entire life about everything AND his mother was living in Oakdale and was just murdered by his father. He was robbed of having a mother when she was alive because of his father and now he has lost her all over again because his father killed her. But no one ever asks Noah "How are you" except Dusty (or Luke). Weird.

Well, I am bisexual, and I must thank God that 2 cousins of mine are bi too. I wouldnt know what i would do without those 2 girls (we are the only "out of norm " meaning bi or gay, ppl from the family and basically closet ppl). Its really difficult to find real friends and a long lasting relationship in the gay-lesbian fields since most of the time there is always a catch, be it crushes, sex or other things. Life is hard and shows like these just demonstrate how we really long for something.

I do know of mature gay couples who have settled down together and seem happy. But I don't think they met in clubs. Even in the straight world it becomes obvious after awhile that life in any club/sports bar scene is quite depressing, lonely, and won't result in meeting anyone of value. You have to try other means of meeting that special person, although I think being gay does make it harder.
