  • who needs Vai when you got Beller ( no pun intended Steve lol)

  • @zappalaney

    What pun

  • Lucky audience to be up close for this clinic.

  • What preamp/pedal did you use for this tone?

  • I got the chance to meet Brian Beller after a Vai show in Alexandria VA, he was an extremely humble guy, and cool enough to take pictures and sign autographs. Amazing Bassist, all around NICE guy! I thought I would Miss Billy Sheehan in the band, but I didn't.

  • This guy is great!! Love the album too.

  • It's funny, people get so absorbed listening to Vai himself when they play his music that they don't realize how DAMN hard the other members of his band work! He writes some really hard shit, and not in terms of the guitar parts

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic much?

  • @Chippie0703

    jajaja it is

  • shit i just started playing bass and im 15 will i be this good when im 30 if i keep working at it or do i have to sell my soul?

  • @rosariofan101 Practice hard and you'll be able to play this part in a year.

  • @woutertron well i quit playin bass but immediantly started playing electric guitar and im actually ok at it

  • Impressive!

  • nice to know someone from WHS made good, cause it certainly wasn't Ted Flynn

  • @rosenfrozen HAHA...inside Westfield, NJ joke FTW...

  • @Mofozofo Shit son,do typos mean I lack intelligence? That's what I though smart ass.

  • @MrXorHomer Yes it does, it proves that your brain isn't elaborate enough for you to review your sentences and write them properly...

  • @Mofozofo u juz jelleh brah

  • nothin' fast nothing complicated, but hell, it's creative (:

    good job

  • nothing fast, nothing complicated, but heeeeeell, it's creative (:

  • ok, the question is asked: whats he playing here, as in what is his bass???

  • Mike Lull Custom Modern 5

  • It's so funny that this guy is in Dethklok. XD

  • no its not this guy is the best bass guitarist in the world so its not supriseing he in the all might dethklok

  • Also, do a google search on the phrase "Life of Bryan+Keneally" for some insight into Beller's musical thinking. Send him an email; he's a cool guy.

  • If you enjoy Bryan Beller but are unfamiliar with the music of Mike Keneally, you owe it to yourself to go investigate Mike Keneally RIGHT NOW. Listen to the albums, "Hat" and "Boil That Dust Speck".

Or don't. See if I care.

  • Great! Vai certainly found the perfect bassist for him :)!

  • after watching this, *throws my ibanez against the wall* and retires lol Holy crap

    Clap Clap Clap

  • Sounds like Yes Chris Squire ish its good , but Stu Hamm would of really enlightened it.Bryan is better than me , no doubt , but what if Victor Wooten would have played Bass on this piece. Whoa

  • Man, this guy is killer! Billy Sheehan, Bryan Beller.... Steve Vai certainly knows how to pick 'em

  • wow! amazing!! W Steve Vai

  • awesome! ahh but i wanted to see the next part! haha

  • haha!! me too

te best bass line in the whole song

"me quedé con gusto a poco"

  • Freakin' AWESOME Mr. Beller!!!! RAWK!!!!!

    Best wishes, T

  • I loved BB's sound onstage with Vai. His tone was perfect where I stood in the Chicago HOB. It had massive tone but cut fine with the pops and slaps.

    Great video, BB. Thanks.

  • i also enjoy how you instinctively play softer during the guitar solo.

  • such tone! so punchy. i'd swear there was slapping involved. your Dethklok training has served you well.

  • Wow! Great stuff! Brings back Milwaukee memories!

    PaulB

  • Great performance man. Also it shows how hard that bass parts are.
