He has that weapon because the German players get them as sort of a gift from Valve for their censorship. Anyone playing with a German player will get them also.

I don't think that's a mod. You see, there are 2 different copies of Censored Left 4 Dead 2 editions. One in Australia and the other one is in Germany. Due to the censorship of the German version of the game, Valve decided to port some weapons from Counter-Strike into the game exclusively for German players to make up for the censorship. There are 5 weapons, but I only came across 4 of them by now

This achievement has to be one of the most random i've ever gotten. Had a dude charge by me on Vs. Hard Rain map. Used the Katana and as he ran by I just barely managed to hit him getting the achievement.

You can get the CSS Weapons if a german player is playing with you.
