@stableaswtc Some shit people havent mentioned: Jeru the Damaja (premo years), Deltron 3030, Binary Star, One be Lo, Gravediggaz, K-Otix (200 album), Dalek
im sitting here and trying to read the lyrics along with the song and i cant do it i mean what kind of mindstate do you have to have to write lyrics like these?
i mean fuck this is nothing i could achieve in 1 lifetime I'd need a few
hopefully, within 2 months max def jux is gonna shop their way back outta the viacom scam and go back to dropping truth with dope artists like vast aire, aesop rock and possibly even slug.
does a new aesop record in 2010 sound helpful to the culture to anyone besides me? well if so then u can give the hell up on skateboardin' with the beatles boyz in 1988 and brush up on your media literacy skills, mister "protect ya neck II". peace.
Aesop makes alot of sense.. if you can figure out the meanings behind all his jibberish lmao he just rymes in metaphor... his stuff has DEEEEEEP meaning
I agree that the 2000 era shit is dope as fuck. Fantastic Damage is ridiculous, and I'll Sleep When You're Dead is a masterpiece. But like the dude said, music like this will never be recreated. El-p has developed and changed his style and it's dope as fuck, but I still feel that youthful swagger in this shit that you can never get back. Know what i mean?
Only thing I hate about hearin music like this is that I can't help but miss this fuckin era... NEVER WILL MUSIC LIKE THIS BE RECREATED... fucking DOPE.
Lyrics for the sake of lyrics. ahh i do miss when cats were about it bout it.

The mainstreams has been dying for about 2 years already.
People are starting realize that its the worst rap possibly ever made(in my opinion).
For those of us who knew that we can tell our kids that we never listened to that shit :p
