But Thunderbirds was a big part of my childhood and this movie is to thunderbirds what the Micheal Bay Transformers movies are to the fans of the originals. @russelljfd I don't want to go rushing into anything i've onlyy just turned 21 and i've still got alot of life yet to live, besides in the current state the econamies in i can't fly over the atlantic anytime soon to live with here on a perminent basis. yes we are in a long distance relationship, and i'm not a very sosiable person, most people i know are jazz musitions and pop singers ine their 60s and 70s.

Jonathan Franks You made this Film a wast of MONEY AND Time and the craft i hate the most is Thunderbird 5 .and may i also say Virgil's acter Dominic Colenso picked the wrong film to star in
It's a reboot, any changes don't affect anything in the show.
As for Jeff having two suits, they all have 5 different suits, depending on which craft they're on. And Jeff's an astronaut, so it makes perfect sense for him to fly TB3, since Gordon is only supposed to be 18 years old and currently piloting TB4 (the "learner" craft).
@ACtheLegend First of Mr J F himself said this film takes place 10 years before the TV series. If so Their shouldn't even be an International Rescue or any Thunderbirds. Scott and Virgil would still be in the Air force, Alen and Gordon would still be in school and John would be a NASA astronaut. This Movie is stupid and is Thunderbirds in name only, it takes more from Spy Kids than Thunderbirds.

Frakes meant in terms of style and plot, this movie takes place 10 years before the alternate version of the series in this timeline, which does not start with the Fireflash rescue. Either that or he just made an error. Either way, the movie is canon, what people say about the film (including the the director) is not canon.
Before i go into this.. This film was AWFUL! But the film is set 10 years before the TV series. So would explain Jeff Piloting as the others may still be under training.
